This year has and will have some big games; Halo:Reach, CoD:Black Ops, Mass Effect 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Crackdown 2 etc. With all this in mind, What will be the biggest and best game of the year for 2010. Since a ton of games have been delayed, the list is quite short to my surprize. Remember this is not a flaming forum so please keep the arguements at a low. (Why Should I Even be talking!) Anywho, Vote below and I'll make a final result. Good Luck and Get Voting. Discuss! (If you can read this, I'll pick a random winner and they will recieve a prize; 1400 MS Points Free: Enter by discussing below.) Yes, I not here to advertise but I still have 4 more cards, I wasted 3 of them on MNC, GoW2 DLC. So I have only 1. I don't know what to do with it and I'm bored. I am doing what I want so leave it at that. Note: Must be launching or already has released within 2010, Can also be an arcade title. Can vote for multiple games. Crackdown 2 Halo:Reach Limbo Monday Night Combat Blur Alan Wake
Halo Reach Black Ops Fallout New Vegas Few others that I can't remember well. And Arcade games can't really be considered.
I didn't know they made 1400 MS points cards. Whatever, I'm still gonna say Halo Reach. I mean that in the most unbiased way possible. It's simply going to be the game with the most good substance to it.
Not really but I have alot of friends who think that Limbo should be a full priced game. Yeah its only in canada though, I have to make a canadian account. I found this glitch where americans can use canadian points. But they have to be on a canadian account.
Arcade games can't win Game of the Year. Halo: Reach. And your so called giveaway will only work in Canada because points are region locked.
I should just call this "Halo:Reach is Game of the Year". You do realize you can vote for more than 1 game..... right?
I'm not exactly sure what's being discussed here. Our own GOTY? The general public's GOTY? Forgehub's general GOTY? Overall, I think it's gonna be a tight race between Super Mario Galaxy 2, Mass Effect 2, Halo: Reach, and Red Dead Redemption, with most websites probably giving it to ME2. I can also see some sites giving it to or at the very least nominating Limbo. As much as I'm going to love Reach, nothing can beat Mass Effect 2, imo. Sure, things were changed this time around, but I believe (as do millions of others) for the better. To be honest, Mass Effect 2 goes up there as the greatest game I've ever played. The cinematics were great, combat was unique and intense, dialogue was just as fun as the first, way more interesting characters, better powers, I could go on for days. Red Dead Redemption is also way up there, being my personal second favorite game of all time, with Halo 3 catching the third spot. The game was so immersive, with it's random encounters, awesomely memorable characters, and huge, dense world. And, the game has one of the most emotional endings in recent memory, forcing me to experience anger, sadness, regret, remorse, revenge, emptiness, and finally deep reflection. This was just such a great year for games, and I'm still looking forward to Reach, LittleBigPlanet 2, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and Fable III. --- Also, why are some people saying that DLC games can't be considered? It really depends on what website or award show you are thinking of.
Mass Effect has a very good chance of winning GotY and matches up to Halo: Reach's hype currently. I just think that Reach's re-playability will come over-top of Mass Effect's
Halo:Reach Fun Fact: Since the beta ended on May 20, this means that the duration between the end of the beta and the full game coming out will be 117 days, a reference to John-117. Lolz, I so excited for Reach! Is anyone else getting the Legendary Edition, I know I am.
Mass Effect 2 had a lackluster story that I think will deny it the GOTY award from many places, but the gameplay was just plain fun in my opinion, and the characters were the best of the year. Red Dead will probably win from a lot of publications/websites, but I personally didn't like it all that much. Only great if you get all hot and bothered about the idea being a cowboy and don't mind repetitive gameplay and a story that was basically just Marston getting jerked around by assholes over and over again. Black Ops is a CoD game and therefore I won't enjoy it. I don't really know or care whether it's likely to be good or not compared to other entries in the series. Reach is going to be amazingly epic. Reviewers and sites that put out top whatever lists get caught up in hype about things like AAs and Forge World and that's good news for Reach. Plus, it's Halo. It'll be good.
Well reach has a high chance of winning. i really enjoy bfbc2 i have enjoyed all of their games it wouldn't suprise me if black opps won it looks pretty sick
