Noble Six can't be Master Chief. Before the Beta came out, Bungie said that the events are right after Operation: TORPEDO or Noble Six was from TORPEDO and I know exactly who Noble Six could be. If you are a male, you are Tom-B292. If you are female, you are Lucy-B091, which lost the ability to speak due to the shock of her combat experience. Both were the only Spartan-III survivors of Operation TORPEDO.

They said clearly that in one of the updates that Noble Six will NOT be like the rookie, and he would not be "the strong silent type".
Yes it would definitely make for an awesome ending sequence, however if you look at the facts, it just wouldn't make any sense.

She's known about them since the beginning of the project. She doesn't exactly have a cloud over her head.
Noble 6 is a SPARTAN-III. Master Chief is a SPARTAN-II. Therefore, Noble 6 is not, and never will be Master Chief. Does anyone have any clue what she meant when she said "Only one can carry on our legacy" or something to that effect? It sounds like only one of them will survive Reach and go on to continue fighting the war. And who was she talking to during the whole thing? It sounds like she was briefing somebody about Noble team, and she made it sounds like the person she was talking to picked out Noble Team for some mission. You can tell it wasn't just a narrative because of the questions she asks at the end and she also looks to the right (her left) at the end and it looks like she's talking to somebody who is off the screen.
I think she's talking to Cortana. Maybe they have another AI as powerful as her held for a secrect, who Noble 6 gets put with to help it feel more like a normal Halo game without breaking the stroy to much.
first of all, this. and master chief wasnt on reach. he lead a couple spartans from his team to go some ship or something in space outside of reach. then gets back on the pillar of autumn and ce starts. also, at least one from noble team probably survives, most likely noble 6. in first strike chief returns to reach after the events of ce and discovers some spartan survivors, as well as dr. halsey. --- i also thought she was addressing cortana
Amazing. . . I just love this video. Noble Team is like the best, this video just makes me even more Hyper for the game, I can't wait. A reference of John-117 "Hyper-Lethal, only one other spartan has that." She was referring to John-117.
im now almost positive shes speaking to an AI, even if its not cortana. shes says "have you made your choice," as though the AI is choosing a spartan much as cortana chose chief. think it'll choose based upon luck? also i really wanna know whats behind all that black ink.
British, I've even confirmed it with my british friend. More like a complete rip from Modern Warfare (Capt. Price). But then again technically he isn't a sniper. To confirm with Cortana and Halsey. In the books, Halsey built cortana to carry on her brain. Thats why John loves Cortana because its Halsey's Brain. She remembers John's Parents. +5 Extra Nerd Points! High Five! What if It's Cortana speaking throughout the whole video until the part with Halsey? Or maybe not Cortana but another AI with the same voice as Halsey? What if Cortana wasn't the only AI Halsey made? so to answer your Legacy question. i'd say that Dr. Halsey is trying to decide who should be the one to carry Cortana or Cortanas "big sister" (whose name i can't remeber) as a prototype thing. so at the end of the vid, she's either talking to Cortana or Cortana's big sister. the reason Dr. Hasley sounds like Cortana and visa versa is because to build an AI you have to base it of an existing and willing mind (so Dr.Halsey based Cortana off herself) like in Red vs. Blue, Church is the AI ("Ghost") of the Commissioner of the Freelancer program.
Wait a second... You guys are saying that Noble 6 survives Reach, and we know for a FACT that Master Chief was the ONLY Spartan to survive Reach. So, Noble Six MUST be Master Chief. I know Noble Six is a Spartan-II, but what if later in the game we find out that he's actually a Spartan-III? I'm starting to think Noble Six COULD be Master Chief!!!
