Welcome to Voi's Mass Particle Accelerator. The workers at the facility are locked below in the experimentation chamber, taken hostage by a hostile enemy in the control room. If they can survive for three minutes they may be able to retaliate.

Welcome to my first attempt at a mini-game. Now, before you dismiss this as terrible simply because it's on Foundry, there was a good reason that it had to be on Foundry. The first reason is that Sandbox simply did not have enough shield doors. In addition, Foundry had propane tanks. This is a one-life grenade gametype. However, don't worry. There is no direct line of sight between you and the alpha zombie. You can take two sticks with full health. However, three minutes of pure grenade dodging can only be so much fun. There's a little bit of sugar, spice, and everything nice flair thrown in there. But I'm sure you're not here to read. You're here for pictures.

Meet the alpha zombie. Aside from the fact that his soul desire is to place high-powered adhesive explosives on your forehead, he's a pretty nice guy. He's got enhanced radar, so don't bother hiding just cause he can't see you. So long as he doesn't commit suicide, he's gonna be a pain for the entire 3 minutes.

This game is largely based off of audio cues. This is the alpha zombie spawn area. After 60 seconds that overshield spawns. He can't pick it up, but it's distinct spawning sound lets him know that it's time for a little variation. In the weapon holder is a magnum. Well not right now. But it'll be there when he needs it. Don't you worry.

Welcome to your side of that elevator shaft looking thing. When that pistol and oversheilds spawn, so do the two arrows. Now when that ever-so-friendly zombie looks down that tiny elevator shaft, he will see a propane tank. This propane tank will be set off by 3 pistol shots. That's your audio cue. It does the most damage to those right in front of it. Unfortunately that's the only way to pick up your precious bubble shield. Once it hits the ground, you can't pick it up. Is it worth the risk?

At 90 seconds we can see this exceptionally good-looking zombie using his skills of observation. He noticed that a pallet spawned. He noticed that he picked up a firebomb grenade. Put the two together and what do you have? A broken pallet! Of course, that's the purpose right?

Unfortunately, the answer is no. This is what your side of the world looks like at 150 seconds. Those grav-lifts run at 30 second intervals, the deployable cover at 45.That custom power-up gives you 3 of your 4 overshields back. If you have a full shield by the time that 150 second custom power-up spawns, you're a god. No, not really. And then there's that pallet there. That's your escape.

As gravemind would say there is a "final, bitter curse" at the end of all this. Pick up a shotgun and some firebomb grenades and throw them at the pallet. The grenades, not the shotgun. That would be rather silly. Your curse? It takes 6 to break the pallet. They're bright. You're blind. The zombie is still throwing grenades.

This, my friend, is a rather ugly looking cross-section of the map. Don't worry, it looks nicer inside. The kind of nice that makes you feel fuzzy.

As per request, here is a labeled cross-section. It cut off some words in the upper right. They say "Upper Elevator Shaft".

Well, all I have left to say is that this game has been tested. That doesn't mean it's perfect, so if you find anything, feel free to tell me. I'll edit the map until it is perfect.

Oh and as a side-note, just cause you get up to the zombie spawn, doesn't mean you'll win. He still does damage.

Good work, Blades. It's nice to see a new Foundry map this close to the release of Halo: Reach. This gametype has a lot of potential, but I find myself not fully understanding the gametype. Could you add some more pictures or at least label the cross-section with callouts like 'Zombie Spawn' and the path of the grenade?

I can't comment on the map itself since I'm away from my Xbox and haven't dowloaded, but from the pictures it looks clean.

Yeah, I'll see if I can add a labeled cross-section in. Until then, the zombie spawns on the upper part, humans on the lower. Grenades are thrown to the left, and the humans drop into the hole at the 3 minute mark.

wow i am impressed at how you were able to make all of this in such a small area, this game and map are very unique because the zombie can effect every area without having to move anywhere. nice job.

I was in a custom and while we were playing this map I really enjoyed it. There is only one thing wrong and you had this coming by using a breakable item to let us win. The pallet is pretty secure and I don't think this is a huge problem but if you take the deployable shield and throw it a certain way on the pallet it comes up and your able to break it. Not flamming just letting you know besides that you did outstanding and forging was smooth.

Thanks Dark Swerk, I'll take a look into that. Maybe I can space out the teleporters that hold it up a little bit. If not I'll probably have to use a different piece of equipment. But thanks once again, I'll get to work on editing that.

If you just put one on top of it that would work also...

Wow, thank you for pointing that out. I probably would have gone into forge and spent a while re-adjusting those. Good, that's a much easier fix. Hopefully I'll fix it within a day.
And Heroez, as long as I'm fixing it, which parts should I touch up?

And in addition, beforehand the gravity allowed the humans to jump up top, but I edited the gametype and that is fixed as well.

I did manage to jump up to the top but I really had to try and thing is when you get up not much you can do all it does it makes it easier for you to die. I don't see it as a MAJOR problem because taking away the gravity can affect this time of game either in a positive way or negative

Well it was at 75 percent gravity, so when you jumped you hit the ceiling. I set it to 100. You still hit the ceiling, but can't make it up. And if the zombie was unobservant, then he could get killed by a human who jumps up.
