I just thought it was an epic enough find to post,it took me a long time to meet the guys trade requirements though. a level 60+ salamence. i happened to have a 31 shelgon laying around,so I trained it all day.
Ahh thanks for the replies guys. It was quite a lot of feedback, I wasn't expecting so much ;D I spose I sound like I want to create some uber competitive team - but in all honesty I don't hahaha. I do appeciate the comments though. I'll say I like to go for move coverage, and just don't even choose most non-attacking moves - even if they are aewsome for strategy - firsty. I don't know why ;D But yeah, for the Gallade, Togekiss - I agree adding a Sword Dance or Thunder Wave respectively, would be smart. But hey, I'm silly @Ace - oh yes indeedy it is. I bloody love you so much, Togekiss kicks ass. My Swampert's Atk and Sp. Atk are practically the same so I'll just leave him... but I'm definately considering all your moveset changes for Scizor. They all make a lot more sense really. I eally like the sounds of your idea V, thanks. Dragonite, I'll just go along with him - and yeah, with the Aggron I'll do the same once he exists hahaha. Latios is pretty beast by the way. Even more so with the Soul Dew And Ace, you access the events by (firstly) having Wi-Fi. Fom there, you go to the Main Menu of the game - Click the Mystery Gift option. When you go into a Pokémart, they'll be this guy who you speak too who basically gives you an item or Pokémon. You go on from there really See here for more details. Finding a shiny is pretty awesome though Halo Kid. My 6 year old brother found a shiny Wingull on his Pearl. Forgot to save the game though. FML.
Lulz. Also, I heard that in Black and White, you will only see new pokemon before the Elite Four. So no more goddamn zubat in every goddamn cave.
whaaat? a pokemon game without zubats and geodudes the entire first third of the game is like a douchebag without oakley oil rigs
So I've started playing HG again after around 3-4 weeks of not playing it at all. I started from Blackthorn gym and I'm now about half way through Victory Road. My team is as follows: Staryu level 42 -Swift -Bubblebeam -Surf -Waterfall Magneton level 43 -Discharge -Spark -Magnet Bomb -Thunder Wave Typhlosion level 46 -Strength -Flame Wheel -Flamethrower -Rollout Pidgeot level 39 -Agility -Fly -Gust -Wing Attack Umbreon 36 -Faint Attack -Iron Tail -Shadow Ball -Bite Dragonair level 31 - Extremespeed -Thunder Wave -Slam -Dragon Rage Obviously my team is quite under leveled but I plan to have them all between 45-50 by the time I challenge the Elite Four seriously. I also think my entire team will be changed after I defeat the Elite Four. I know I'm definitely going to be re-adding a Weavile to my team (hoping to get a hold of a shiny Sneasel) and I've got ideas for other Pokemon as well. I think I might swap out Typhlosion for a better fire type if I can think of one but I'm not 100% sure yet. Also, I managed to catch a Shiny Rattata as well. I think if I evolve it and raise it a few levels then I may be able to get a decent trade for it. I may also try my hand at RNG Abuse as well.
I was thinking about it. Arcanine has always been one of my favorite Pokemon and I've never actually had him in a team of mine so I'm definitely considering it. Any setups you'd recommend? I've also been thinking about my team and these are the Pokemon I've thought of: Weavile (definite) Gallade Metagross Salamence Dragonite Blastoise Charizard Scizor Lapras Luxray Ampharos Electivire Magmortar Crobat Aerodactyl Roserade Breloom Alakazam Gardevoir These pokemon are just off the top of my head aswell. I think if I went onto Serebii.net and looked at some Pokemon I'd have alot more. Anyone have any suggestions for a team from that list?
just because they're cool, gardevior, scizor, dragonite, aerodactyl, crobat, and luxray would be an awesome team
too cliche for me, bar luxray. says me with the charizard and blastoise... my team as of now: Squirty (Blastoise) <-- he knows outrage Charizard < ev'd in attack Nidoking <-- awesome moveset Metagross <-- hardcore Sceptile <-- ev'd in speed Ampharos <-- sucky. im gonna switch ampharos for a luxray.
Got all 6 of my main team to level 100 (finally). Took forever, even with a Lucky Egg being rotated around. My main team is Gallade, Glaceon, Typhlosion, Dragonite, Ampharos, and Gyarados. So now I'm starting a second team just for shits and giggles. Right now I've got: Gardevoir - level 40 - Shadow Ball - Psychic - Double Team - Magical Leaf Steelix - level 42 - Rock Polish (want to replace with Earthquake) - Dragonbreath - Curse - Iron Tail Lanturn - level 45 - Confuse Ray - Signal Beam - Surf - Discharge Cloyster - level 45 - Ice Shard (want to replace. Suggestions?) - Aurora Beam - Iron Defense - Surf Togekiss - level 40 - Metronome (may want to change) - Flamethrower - Fly - Secret Power (Want to change) Machamp - level 40 (want to change 2-3 of the moves for something other than Fighting type.) - Wake-Up Slap - Revenge - Cross Chop - Submission Suggestions? They all have Pokerus and I've been getting some +5's and +6's. If anyone has Heart Scales and the TM Earthquake that would be willing to trade them, I'd be very appreciative.
I have a couple Heart Scales, I believe, I'm in need of PKrus to start EV training, and in need of Dittos. You could PM me, contact me on XBL or what ever to organize a trade.
I actually don't need Heart Scales anymore (Luvdisc swarm FTW), but I could still use the Earthquake TM if you have it. Also, how many BP do you have? I'd like to teach my Weavile Ice Punch but I'm no where near the amount needed (64). Oh, and I updated my team. I just need to get them all to roughly the same level. Gardevoir - level 40 - Psychic - Shadow Ball - Magical Leaf - Double Team Togekiss - level 42 - Air Slash - Flamethrower - Aura Sphere - Fly Luxray - level 47 - Thunder Fang - Crunch - Hyper Beam - Discharge Swampert - level 46 - Avalanche - Waterfall - Dig (going to be Earthquake once it levels up) - Hydro Cannon Weavile - level 52 - Icy Wind (want to be Ice Punch) - Slash (may want to change - Night Slash - Surf Any suggestions for a sixth Pokemon? I still have the Steelix from my previous post, but I don't really like/need it. Pokemon I have that are around the same levels as my team: - Lanturn - Rhydon - Machamp - Crawdaunt - Whiscash - Shiftry - Gengar - Cacturne - Ludicolo - Cloyster - Pachirisu - Feraligatr - Magmortar - Rapidash - Mismagius - Yanmega - Kingler - Froslass - Slaking - Kadabra - Magneton - Parasect
I only have like 15BP :/ I don't have Earthquake yet, but I'll go hunting for it tonight and try and get it for you by tomorrow if you still need it. Also go for Yanmega for your 6th, he's a lot of fun to use with this set: Speed Boost -Protect -Bug Buzz -Air Slash -Hypnosis/Substitute
Actually, I don't really need the TM since Swampert is going to have it soon. I don't know why I posted that. *facepalm* I can still give you a Pokemon with Pokerus though. If you've got a Cascoon you could part with, that'd be awesome. I think I'll try the Yanmega. Thanks. I'll be on XBL for a while tonight. You can probably contact me through someone's friends list. (Shaz, MonitorBuilt, Pirates)
I managed to beat the Elite Four and Lance last night. The Elite four are all chumps. I only had a slight problem with the fourth because I had no pokemon that were super-effective against dark types. Took me two tries to beat Lance though. I had him down to his last pokemon. It was his Aerodactyl and I managed to get it down to enough health so I could take it out with my Magneton's Discharge. Unfortunately for me though my Magneton was low and health and paralyzed but I somehow managed to convince myself that it didn't need healing even though I had plenty of health and status healers. Three turns of constant paralysis, Gone. Bring out my Staryu thinking Surf would get rid of it quickly. First turn, Aerodactyl was faster and it used Thunder Fang. GONE. Match over. Then I reset and won Got my team almost sorted out aswell. Weavile Gallade Salamence Metagross Arcanine/Charizard Luxray/Blastoise/Roserade Unsure on my last spot. Those are the pokemon I was thinking about but I definitely want one of those types. I'm leaning towards a Water type.
Lololololol. Now you've got the stronger Elite 4 to beat. For me, Swampert's always a good bet, if you're going for a water type that is. Then again, you may want something like a Gyrados, which is also better in attack - and has a fairly good move-pool.
I was training in Victory Road earlier today, and guess what I found... a shiny Graveler! It's my first ever shiny besides the red Gyarados. I caught the Graveler. I may consider trading it.
My first shiny pokemon I ever found was a shiny ponyta. It was so majestic and beautiful, I swear it was the most orgasmatic moment ever, then I defeated it accidently and I cried myself to sleep that night.
