What Map Ideas Do You Have For Reach?

    I love making ****around maps.
    Pretty much i hop in forge and just do whatever.
    if i get some random idea i go for it.
    erm im 14 turning 15 but i have a high pitched.

    Here's my map, Tritangle.

    I hope my description is easy to understand... This map, called Tritangle, would take up about half of the Canyon (where Hemmorhage is in Forgeworld, with a giant wall blocking off the other half). There are two mini bases where the two teams spawn which are suspended about 30 feet in the air and are well protected from spawnkilling, and three large Forts in a triangle on the ground. The two mini bases are in the center of the triangle formed by the Forts. There are a whole bunch of bridges and man-cannons linking all three Forts with each other and the Forts with the Bases, but there is no quick way to go from one Base to another to prevent spawnkilling.

    The three Forts would have tons of great cover and firing positions, and one power weapon each. Teams would be constantly fighting over control of the Forts. It would be a constant back and forth between concentrating power in one Fort and spreading out to control two, but then losing one because your team is spread thin. There has never been a triangular map before in Halo and I think if done right this would be an awesome brand new experience. Tritangle is a Slayer only map because it's not symmetrical (or king of the hill I guess).

    Noted: there's no line of sight between the red/blue bases (walls in between), and no way to get from one to the other without going through a Fort. They're not really bases at all in the traditional sense, they're just places to spawn and then choose a fort to head to. The forts serve as actual bases that the teams choose, and combat revolves around them.

    Make that a three team ctf and ill play it
    each base has a flag and its got a nice interior
    That would be epic

    lol thats kay. and were the same age :D.


    racetracks are going to be taken to the next generation, with 0 bumps and ****. itll be awesome. and they will be so easy to make, now maps are going to have the perfect layout to be good.

    Ok my Map Idea for forge world is a sort of Attacking and Defending a base type map. One team has mongooses and warthogs and that team is supposed to try to get inside of the base the other team is protecting and either plant a bomb or steal a flag (I'll decide which one later.) The other team is more armed but no vehicles and they are supposed to try to stop the other team from completing their objective.

    Team thats Attacking:

    Vehicles:
    Mongoose
    Warthog

    Starting Weapon(s):
    Assault Rifle
    Pistol

    Extra:
    Motion Sensors are Off (Red dots appear when enemies shoot)
    Can only use Sprint, Armor Lock, and Evade
    Armory at Spawn has weapons that excel at close range combat


    Team thats defending:

    Vehicles:
    None

    Starting Weapon(s):
    DMR
    Needler Rifle

    Extra:
    Motion Sensors are Off (Red dots appear when enemies shoot)
    Armory at Spawn has weapons that excel at far range combat
    Can use any armor ability
    Base has sniper posts

    Tips To Win

    Defending:
    Try to keep them out of your base since you will probably lose the fight if it becomes close combat.
    If they get into the base try to get higher ground so you can drop on them and assassinate.

    Attacking:
    One person be extremely loud with a warthog or mongoose as a distraction to allow the other to get into the base.
    Stay together once inside the base so if one person on your team gets assassinated your teammates can kill the person who killed you and them you can just spawn on top of them.

    i feel like you should include 4 loadouts, a sprint class (DMR + magnum) a shotgun class (armor lock +magnum) a stealty class (give a magnum and a sniper and camo) a jetpack class (grenade launcher (2 nades) and a magnum).

    a magnum is your go to weapon. oh no, hes far away and i have a shotgun. magnum. im out of DMR or noob toob amo. magnum. i could toss a machine gun in their somewhere, but for a very skilled game a magnum is where its at.
    i havent played with the halo reach magnum yet, but if its like the old magnum at all than its the perfect gun to have on your side.

    I agree with the side arm always being the magnum but i think thats only acceptable for the attacking side since the defending side is supposed to be weaker when it comes to close combat.

    we wouldnt know.
    and i feel like a jetpack is necessary for infiltrating the base. maybe replace evade with jetpack and call it ninja?

    You don't know about Drop shield and Hologram? Weren't they confirmed?

    And about the jetpack, maybe but I think giving the attacking team the ability to get onto higher ground makes it too easy for them.

    Given no drop down arrow I would assume for now the six shown are the only ones to make the cut. OR... these are the only ones you can put on a map. So confirmation on Drop Shield and Hologram HAS been confirmed. So far the rumoured Ammo pack is out.

    I think there are going to be more armor abilities add to that list
    and drop shield was confirmed in the firefight trailer

    Perhaps Bungie just didn't put them on the list to keep them a secret. It's kinda unlikely, but it's a possibility.
