Made some adjustments to starting points and spawns, as well as minor weapon/equipment re-locations. More details in the original post, and I updated the link to the new Bungie.net thread also.
I like how you have like a million pics, it helps to show everything in the level before you actually dl it. I rememebr going through my hard drive playing all the maps I just downloaded with one of my friends. When I told him it was supposed to look like a temple he was like 'holy crap it does'. Good job, looks amazing and it was fun to play on too.
Thanks a lot! I always try and let the reader know exactly what he's getting into before he DLs a LIGHTSOUT map. Lol I'd probably have even more pics if the limit wasn't 20. Thanks for the feedback!
Wow~ This looks very cool & very sophisticated. It's unique shape and object placement makes it shine.
Version 3 Lights you never cease to amaze me. That game of Incan Capture last night was the first actual game I played on Machu Picchu, and I must say.. It was pretty friggan bad ass! Out of all your maps that I've played, I find this one to be my favorite so far.. Spawn points are well placed and the weapons are balanced through out the map. I'd have to say you've out done yourself with this version, But I can't really say that because you will at some point baffle me yet again with another amazing map.. So until then.. I will wait and play more Machu Picchu!
Lightsource this map is amazing, but the only thing that i think could make it better would be if you could walk on the statue in the center. It would add a whole other dimension to the maps gameplay.
Thanks King, I can't believe as much as we play that was your first actual game. Oh well, I have no doubts we'll play again soon. And yes, I have high hopes for my new project, so don't get too settled. Lightsource, huh? Thats a new one. Add another one to the list. Anyway, the Idol is mainly an aesthetic piece, used as cover when attacking the Temple. Plus, I'm pretty much bone dry as far as building materials go. Glad you like it though!
This map is just amzing interlocking is fantastic i have to say and verynice use of merging with the map.MlGLR pplayahater got me playing this map too much so i had to check it out.By the way verynice aestetics and gameplay
thanks a lot! Its a pretty cool feeling when you know other people who DL your map want to show others what they found... definitely makes it worth it. And gameplay actually just improved greatly with the tweaks to the spawn system and gametypes. Plays marvelously now. Awesome I hope you enjoy it!
Well, I have to ask, are you going to make a sequel? I would like to see you get into maybe an Aztec or Mayan structure, that would be sick.
Hmm to be honest I hadn't thought about it. I'm currently working on a semi-sequel to Heatwave right now on Avalanche, but once I make my way back to foundry its definitely a possibility. Good idea
