Okay, The internet is slow, xbl is slow, everything is slow, cant login to anything on the computer, or on xbox without it being slow or saying cant connect to xbl. usually if i try a couple more times i sign in. and its horrible after that. Need Suggestions to Fix this problem. P.S. 5 stars for actually being able to type this before internet crashes
Power cycle your modem and then your router. Unplug it (and take out a backup battery if it has one), wait 30 seconds, plug it back in and let it reconnect to the internet. Then do the same for your router. If it doesn't fix, call your ISP and see if they're having downed lines or other problems in your area. As a last resort, you can have a specialist from your ISP come and check it out.
What is your ISP? Have you checked your areas service status on their website? Have you rang them? (First thing you should tbh) If you download a lot you may be getting your connection throttled, if so, download less.
