Ignore the other answers, they did confirm that.

Is it possible to set the ending location of a mancannon? Say for example you put the mancannon down, set a marker for where it will make the player land, and choose the maximum height the object / player traveling through reaches before touching down.Sort of like Guardians??

Afraid not. Man cannons are simple throwers of objects, heedless of where they might end up. Real clever, those Covenant engineers.

But, there are a few different power levels available this time, so you should be able to adjust your trajectories more easily."

The maps in the weekly update.... oh my ****ing god. They don't all look amazing but I'm suddenly starting to realize the true capabilities of Forge 2.0, and it's going to kick all of our asses.

    I did, what's the big deal? :p

It's just time I could have spent doing other, more important stuff.

It looks like the only maps Bungie's employees are forging are floating maps where they have to build the floors themselves. But if they can build massive maps like the Cage in the sky, then I can't wait to see how massive our BTB maps will be. I keep thinking about a map that crosses the water between the island and the mainland... Did you guys see how great the rocks are by the way? They come in so many shapes and sizes that it actually looks natural. Caves will be a lot easier to make now...

I can't wait to see some lazy forger create the best btb map to date by only putting in teleporters, spawns, and vehicles encompassing all of FW

You couldn't d that well lazily. But I think somebody that has a clue what they're doing could pull that off and it be decent

Just because somebody is lazy doesn't mean they don't have a clue what they are doing. Look at fat people at walmart, they use scooters because why walk when you can disgrace your country

Is that forgeable grid in forgeworld like the sandbox grid where only immovable objects can stay on it, or is it like a solid platform that everything can stay on?

Everything can stay on. I'm not sure if it will still be there outside of Forge mode though.

I don't know if this has been addressed anywhere, but how will kill volumes affect objective or even other forge pieces? Will it cause them to reset?

That's actually a really good question. I can't see why it would effect forge pieces, and it probably won't affect objective stuff, though I can't say for sure.

We have spoken about it somewhere within the 50 pages (lol) Someone pulled up proof from b.net that it does cause objective items to reset.

I think it was part of the Q&A part 2, that all objectives within kill volumes DO reset. So that nobody can like drop a skull out of the cage and have it land in the water without resetting

I'm assuming you are trying to show that there is now the possibility of a spawn zone where the enemy can't go
