    ViDoc blew my ****ing mind. Can't wait for reach now. Maybe reach will revive xbox from it's sad state.

    The fact that you can rotate around you object defeats an undo button. Unless from a completely chaotic button command, Reachs forge really dosent require an undo button.

    Edit: I was searching around in the "Item Photo" and I saw ontop, towards the middle of the screen the turret from Halo 3 Campaign. It's the Covy turret with the purple plasma, if anyone knows what I'm talking about. Next to the hornet, take a look for yourself.

    I was thinking how Cortana or Chief will actually sound in Firefight. One usually just gives you advice and the other doesn't talk at all during gameplay. If Cortana just gives the player advice again instead of actually being the player, I'll love that. And it'll be hilarious if Master Chief just gets all of his one-liners ("I need a weapon," for when you're out of ammo, or "Boo," after you stab a Grunt in the back, etc).

    Newly recorded stuff would be just as great, but I doubt it.

    I don't think they ever made a render of another Spartan using the Mark VI armor. But you could be right; it might just be the standard Spartan voice from multiplayer (which is basically the same thing, minus the one-liners). Which would be really lame...

    OK, here goes my Comic Con experience for the most part, including all the little tidbits about forge not seen in the vidoc, that I can remember

    Well I played FF about 8 times before the Halo panel. Went with a buddy from Halo 3 in the Work PLace, and we rocked that ****. Sketch, Shishka, Lars, and David Allen were working the booth (even doing line control and sweating a bit.. bungie makin em earn that mula!). They chatted with people all day and whatnot. Ibemeubeu (my buddy) and I got stationed next to Larz pretty much every time and we got to chat with him tons. I thanked him for creating Rocket Race and told him how huge a fan I was and whatnot.. I kept calling him the Godfather of Rocket Race Himself lol. He is super humble and super down to earth. Really cool dude.. just one of the guys. Gave us some tips and whatnot as we tackled new maps/variants. We played default FF, Rocketfight (infinite ammo Rockets + pistol + whatever AA loadout you selected), Gruntpocalypse (all grunts all the time, aim for the face. it was awesome), Generator Defense (more on that later), and then...

    The last time we went up there before the panel, Ibmeubeu and I get up there and Lars says "So I knew you guys would be back one last time, so check out this custom variant I whipped up for you guys!" It was suuuper awesome that he thought about doing something special for us (as far as I could tell we were the only guys who kept cyclying back through the line over and over). It was called Sniper Attack. It was like Rocketfight, but with Snipers, obviously. Magnum secondary, and a wider array of AAs. Got to use hologram there. its pretty cool and works wonders in FF if youre smart about it. Such a fun gametype. He said itd be in the matchmaking rotation, just wasnt on the boxes there at the Con. Lars is the man.

    I got tons of little Reach buttons/pins. There were 4 sets of 3 each of mostly different medals like killionaire, dream crusher, stick, etc and some Noble/UNSC emblems. Got some Noble 6 Avatar helmets. Got the Reach Comic Con poster signed by Sketch, Shishka, Allen, Larz (who wrote "keep rocket racing!") and Frankie after the panel (he was there as a fan just watching) and he drew a little Mister Chief with his signature after we told him how much we missed Mister Chief. lol it was awesome.

    K, onto stuff I dont think was covered in the ViDoc:

    -new filters: Next Gen (kinda sleek, futuristic, slightly desaturated), Purple (basically the night-time effect), and Green (didnt see it in action but from what Ive heard its basically a dusk type of effect). Old-Timey looks a LOT better, too. All the old fx are back.

    -Vehicle teleporters: teles can be adjusted to allow for vehicles (and even specific types like light, heavy, flying, etc). The radius of the tele can be adjusted to accommodate for error in a way for the vehicles. Visually they don't change, though... not too sure on what the deal there was TBH.

    -Vehicle-friendly mancannons

    -Got to drive/gun the Rocket Hog during FF: It shoots 6 rockets each trigger pull. It fires them one by one in rapid succession, so you can strafe the reticule and pepper the horizon with them. Its awesome.

    -New scenery on Overlook. Some spinning satellite thingy over to the left of the base (if your facing the base) near the cliff.

    -Generator Defense Firefight is SUPER hard. Or at least it was for IB and I. We played just us two on one of the new maps Beach Head. We literally didn't last a minute. It was on Heroic. Lars let us play again lol... we changed the gametype.

    -there's like 3 different Skirmisher types, and they are menacing! SO fast! And when they are running full speed while rocking a Focus Rifle, watch out!

    -Night vision is cool, not as extreme as ODST, and no outlines on enemies/objects. Not necessary all the time at night. I only used it when Lars suggested it when trying to spot snipers on far away cliffs.

    -There are no customizable callouts :( something about them not being able to monitor/filter out inappropriate content

    -Safe and Kill volumes are forgeable on ALL maps, not just on Forge World

    -They said there'd be 6 Forge World variants, not including the canvas/default. We know of:

    Hemmorrhage
    Ascension
    Lockout
    Sanctuary
    The Cage

    Hemmorrhage may not count as one of the 6, but I think it does.

    The forge segment of the panel was SO epic. you guys have no idea. Like, chills down the back, jaw dropped, hand over mouth, speechless, eyes wide kinda stuff. very seminal moment.

    YES! I was hoping bungie's lockout would be shipped with the game!

    I'm so jealous I can only imagine how it would be to see all that in person. Just the video's and info has total blew my mind.

    I hope they have the scenery objects and other immovable ones for puzzle maps.

    I thought Grifball Court was one of those 6? The 3 remakes were of maps they used for the map geometry and objects; Blood Gulch/Coagulation, Sanctuary and Ascension.
    Instead of Lockout we get The Cage, which is built by the same guy who made Lockout and Guardian
    And the other map is Shiska's; Paradiso.

    Taken from the picture of the menu, this information is correct. It may just be that the remake of Lockout isn't on the current version they are showing off.

    And to address to someone that said Master Chief isn't a firefight voice, go watch IGN's armory video. Last voice for like some 15,000 I think it says clearly Master Chief. If you'd like to see it badly, I'll link.

    Random but legit question:

    Ok the falcons have turrets on the side yes? So if I'm setting up a flag or bomb gametype and I set the carrier as passenger only, would he be able to get on the falcon or would that seat count as a gunner?

    Based on some stuff Shishka said at the Con, I think its safe to say that the flag carrier can ride in the Falcon. I don't know if that means there's more seats in the back than just the gunner seats or not, but I know it can be done. The story he was mentioning was something like they were playing with some press guys and the flag guy came out of the base and Shishka (or whoever it was telling the story, i forget lol) came around with the Falcon and was trying to land and pick him up when the guy just jumped on top of the Falcon and they took off that way instead (which implies Shishka was trying to get him in a passenger seat).

    I do know that you can change the settings so that a flag carrier can operate a vehicle like in the old CE days. So you should be able to accomplish what your going for one way or another.

    Ok thanks. I'm actually hoping there's an option where they can ride but not shoot the turret. Gameplay-wise that seems more balanced

    You can set it so only certain parts of the vechiles can be used. But it affect every single on the map I believe.

    Im not sure that im picking up what youre putting down. if you are saying that i make everybody in the game not be able to use the turrets, that would not help me at all

    The option would be in the gametype, not the vehicle itself. You would be able to set unique vehicle usage for people such as flag carriers, bomb carriers, Juggernauts, etc.

    Could we possibly see a regular falcon and a transport falcon?
