Why would you want to delete them anyway?

They are pretty sick maps in thier own right!

 

I'll definitely be making a gametype where the mongoose is the hill, but it extends OUTSIDE the mongoose so your team gets points for being near you. or if it's possible, only outside the mongoose, so you don't get points but your teammates do.

also avalanche-ish map and a sweet racetrack

 

That would be awesome! Didn't they have a double exp in H3 where there were three oddballs?

 

Wasn't answered correctly so here you go:

1.No switches or destructible glass.
2.Like creates/pallets/Fusion coils. Yes! and we also have the option to make them immovable.
3.Like the effects on halo 3 but better and more of them. No raining or snow extreme stuff.
4.Free Floating? you can place things in the air easily, Slowly moving nope but you could make movable objects fly from man cannons.
5.Trip mine is a place-able object,Bubble shield is a AA, There is a custom power up, And you can place AA packs(Not sure if there just AA's are loadouts,most likely just AA though.)

I'm not sure what you mean by that. may be unrelated but the way i read it.

The variants of Forge World that ship with the game they are all completely modifiable just like if you had made them yourself.

 

They are shipping Forge world with a preset empty map. So no worries about preset forge pieces with that. They talked about it with a guy on the Comic Con website

 

I'm still just waiting for somebody like dream to come along, and blow us all away with a 4Km long track, with sexy banked turns, possibly a loop, and a low pass through an old friend of a gulley.

 

Ok, i dont know if this has previously been posted, but this is what i think are the maps that come with the disk.

Asylum: Lockout remake
Grifball Court: yea.
Hemorrhage: Blood Gulch remake
Paradiso: Sanctuary remake
Pinnacle: Ascension
The Cage: Bungie Original

 

Well one thing I want to do is replace that concrete wall on Hemorrhage behind Red Base.

As for making a full map, they'll be good for patches of uneven terrain but I think the best way of using them is to use flat objects for the main structures and make sort of make a frame work, then fill it in with rocks.

 

Asylum is sanctuary and Paradiso is a Bungie original BTB map.

 

Editable, yes, save-over-able/delete, no. Just like H3, default on disc maps, can only be "Save as new"

The other one was a remake of Warlock. The Grifball variant won't actually be shipped on the disc most likely.

 

The grifball variant is most likely the coliseum with the opening blocked off, maybe a few random aesthetics.

 

Exactly. Not worthy of shipping along with the disc. That variant will be used in Matchmaking, much how it already is now.

For those who don't believe me about Warlock:

...There's people that don't think warlock is in? Wut?

 

That's a pretty inaccurate remake if you look closely. Also, I doubt Warlock will be on the disc.

 

Who knows? We can feel free to speculate.

 

I know. Bungie has already announced the list of custom forge maps that will launch alongside Forge World, and Warlock was absent.
