I'm diggin' the first and second the most. The fourth kind of looked more like a brute when I first glanced at it. Also, is that a concussion rifle that first elite is holding?
The color pattern for the limited/legendary set is just bizarre looking. Little bit of yellow, orange and red mixed in there. I'd like to see a Honor Guard armor set (or something like it), I always thought they looked cool back in Halo 2.
I like the armor, those colors just make it look....odd. If I had to pick my favorite out of those pictures, it would probably be 2.
I always thought the helmet looked cool, but as a whole (maybe it's just the angle), it's not making me as hard as I thought it would. Yeah, I play as an Elite most of the time. Mostly it's because I like screwing up the enemy's BR flow, what with my invincible neck and all. Really though, I just think they're really badass. Reach will force me to play as a Spartan more, which I kinda hate. I wish Commando and Ascetic were still options. I guess the second one looks close enough.
Agreed. ^ This one is the limited/legendary only skin. ^ Could put ^ on the text so no confusion on which is the Pre-order bonus. But that one is my fave out of those probably because it looks good with the red and orange. But I'm hoping for some kind of honor guard armor or Councilor(I think there called the ones at end of halo 2) armor they would be the best, but there heads would be huge :S Also the "EVA" "space" elite armor would be awesome in some way, EVA Spartans vs EVA Elites or something. I can't wait for reach so much possibility lol
You obviously care enough about the discussion to make a useless and aggressive comment on the matter. ;D The reason i hate them is because it gives one player an unfair advantage of another that they did not earn. I am ANTI unfair advantages, its like playing a game of matchmaking where one player gets an extra 10% sheilds. But Bungie is awesome and they fixed that for Reach with their brilliance. Anywho, those are secksy pictures you found there TSB. I like the second one the best, and the limited edition skin looks suspiciously like the "Burnout" car skin in N4S Carbon lol. Anyone else notice that? I think it just about made my day! Anyway the legendary edition will not get ordered if that is what they are offereing to me...
I couldn't agree more. Ok... I honestly don't give a cluck about hayabusa armor or elites. Who gives a crap if everyone uses hayabusa? If they brag heaps just mute them. Wow that's hard! As for elites, in my 5000+ halo games (most of them being customs that took probably 2-10x longer than matchmaking) I haven't noticed any difference between elites and spartans. It will be there but I probably don't notice it because a head is a head. JUST SHOOT IT!!! However, there is one thing in halo that I can't stand. That one thing is MLG. They call themselves major league gaming. What does MLG mean you ask? It marks the people who complain like an army of angry midgets on performance enhancing drugs. What do they complain about you ask? EVERYTHIN!!! Armor abilities, DMR, having a 50 in halo 3, less speed/jump height, elites, etc, etc, ETC!!! MLG also stands for people who can't change there strategy. Take away there BR and watch them squirm! Add an item (say armor abilities) and watch them squirm! Chane the gametype and watch them SQUIRM!!!!!! If there so pro at gaming why can't they adapt to anything. Isn't that what gaming is? If the enemy starts using tactics what do you do? You use adapt your gameplay to counter that. When you change game you also adapt your strategies and tactics to suite it! Sorry about that but I can't stand MLG! As for the armor. There is heaps more then just 7 elite sets of armor. I seen a hacked video and there were tones! Might just be campaign though :/ I hope not! The colours of limited/legendary looks bad as. Is it always that flame colour or can you change the colours and it blends them together?
Any more bullshit about Pros and disadvantages are getting reported. This is about reach armor, not about MLG bullshit.
Dude, that modded thing only had seven types of armors. He just kept shooting out duplicates of what was already there... And i do not think you have the ability to change your legendary armor color either, unless that is a spartan setting. IDK ill tell you late september ;D
Yeah thats what i thought, but the special elite armor has only been seen with those colors. And those colors are not seen on any other armor varient, spartan or elite. So who knows what it may turn out to be. Maybe we have the option to select full-armor skins that change everything and add a pattern of some sort. Even better yet, imagine a ful Need for Speed graphics editor, only its for your armor. That would be unparalleled lol, and then the possibilities would literally be endless.

Ranger looks sweet! I really like it. Overall I think the Elite armor is way more badass than the Spartan armor.
The colors of your elite character is based off your spartan character. so no it wont always be orange, that one just happened to be.
