i want there to be unlockible arbitor armor or have it be the new recon, bungie gift only. ps-back to the vid on page 95 i saw a guy had the emile visor in the beggining with the skull. pss-it would also be funny as hell to have a guilty spark helmet
Hey did any body see the "so-called revvealed info"? I was watching AOTS and X-play but nothing was on about reach... Anyone uploaded a vid yet?
Few cool things I noticed from that pic. - Shade Turret - Different coloured mongooses (blue, red + green) - Huge rock formations - Yellow Light - Large green die Most exciting thing about this is that this is probably a very small preview of the total amount of items *EDIT* From this pic you can see that the colours on the front and back of mongooses change according to what team they belong to (i.e. purple or blue) Also, just saw the names of 4 new maps on the map list in the vid. - Boardwalk - Countdown - Spire (mentionned in weekly update) - Zealot (possibly the Covenant-themed map seen a while back?)
Holy **** you can play as covenant in firefight by simply changing to blue team in the lobby. YouTube - Comic Con Bungie Panel: Halo Reach Firefight versus And you can drive the forklift.
Has anyone mentioned that Bungie also reveal the 9 map names in that ViDoc? Its so obvious its easy to miss: Boardwalk Boneyard Countdown Forge World Powerhouse Reflection Spire Sword Base Zealot And then with Forge World we get 5 premade maps (plus the Canvas and Grifball Court, so 7) which include remakes of Sanctuary, Blood Gulch, Lockout, Warlock and Ascension (I think those were the 5 mentioned or seen in the ViDoc, although they may not be the ones of the disc).
Pretty much every thing is found strait away it just isn't compiled into the one spot. But notice there is no Beach Head the one from the firefight videos so firefight maps could be different to MM/Customs/Forge.
So I guess that almost confirms Firefight will get a ton of gameplay customization options, but no Forge and that Invasion maps will be forgeable (Boneyard and Spire were mentioned in the update) I did actually think "only 9?" for a moment, I'd forgotten about Firefight. I'm quite amazed at how Bungie is getting all this on to one disc. Perhaps other game developers are getting lazy. Its quality, not quantity, especially were coding is concerned.
Actually Boneyard is Invasion, no? If it is then Invasion might be forgeable or at least we can alter Boneyard to create maps for other gametypes, which is pretty cool in itself.
The bases are Blood Gulch, the rest of the map is Coagulation, to be exact I guess. Halo Classic is user saved content. Its not on the disc. They forged it. Also, surprised to see that Overlook is missing, cause they were playing it at Comic Con.
YOU ARE GAY XOSHELLYXO!!! anyways. I don't really care if there are only 9 maps shown because Forge World is pretty much five maps in one. They also stated that they will be shipping some of their forged variants with the full game. I believe this is their Lockout, Ascension, Sanctuary and Wizard variants.
The only two left on that copy are THE CAGE and PARADISO, which are bungie employee maps. SWEET NEW MAP and HALO CLASSIC are just saved forges. The rest of the remakes either aren't on that build for show, or aren't making it to the game.
