Yes.

I bought the guide with my Metroid Prime Trilogy and followed it through MP2 and MP3 to get the items but I never used it in MP1 for some reason. I spent two hours going to every expansion spot and found 4 missile expansion, and I don't do scans, except for enemies.

 

Using a guide kinda defeats the purpose of playing Metroid... the whole idea is to explore and find stuff yourself... I'm not using a guide for my playthrough.

Yes, and you can save the state so when I save I don't have to start the entire dungeon from the entrance and get back to where I needed to go.

@Kratos: On MP1 I have like 70%+ without the guide. Those 4 pickups that I used the guide for got me up a % or 2.

Unless you are using a walk through anything cheat and it crashes your emulator.

I once put every cheat on and my computer had a thirty-second stroke.
