I doubt this. It would be so much more useful being AI controlled walking to a point. If you leave your body still, you're vulnerable and cannot do any damage. All you could use it for would be scouting.
You're right. According to a Bungie staff member's tweet, you just aim a "cursor" to a certain area and activate the ability. The hologram walks over to where you pointed and stays still. You're then free to do whatever.
Actually, this is what he said He thought i answered his question well, how did say what he did? He was wondering if they were talking about something symbolic or if it was just the name of the ship. I said that it was the ship and explained what the ship was. Chill out, purple
These are some exciting twitpics from Bungie! Sprucing up the lobby for tomorrows media visit Our lobby looks like a Gamestop.. awesome! Also this: @jackmetcalf media visit tomorrow but the coverage won't hit for a few more weeks.. next week is comic-con tho!
The nerd and criminal inside me are working together and is planing a way to steal all those halo items and kill anyone who gets my way! >
Besides the Bombay Sapphire, are any of those others actual brand names? Ocho Tequila sounds plausible, as does Tru2 Organic Vodka, but I've never heard of either and I'm curious if Bungie went to the effort of getting multiple brand names approved for use on Reach's bar menu.
I'm sure they did. In fact, the BWU where that was shown actually mentioned at least one other drink that didn't make the cut.
Well that's going to be pretty awesome for those big battle scenes in machinima; 16 players, all with the Clone AA = 32 soldiers running along!
Or sending a load of clones of a cliff and watch them all fizzle away as they hit the death barrier! And I suppose 1 clone will have a time limit the same as the recharge time, to avoid 1 player having too many clones! And what if clones collide? (or is it called Hologram? Clone sounds like it would be better during gameplay) And have we seen all 7 AAs now? Sprint, Drop Shield, Active Camo, Clone, Jetpack, Armor Lock... The one possible thing I can think of which I've seen in other video games is short range teleporting.
I don't think you can move while your controlling your clone. I wonder what it would be like if your holoc ould use a AA of it's own.... Fade-Out Armor Lock screenshots? Sprinting through yourself screenshots?
I know you can't control its movement but if you just want a charging army then that's fine, you just get everyone to set their holograms off running in the right direction then follow them! It would take a bit of organisation, but then so should everything in a good machinima.
I was just reading the new update, and I saw this: At least we know we'll get to know about forge in the first week of August! And a new game mode? XD I can't wait.
My friends... Bottomless Armour Abilities are Confirmed Source: Last paragraph of 'The Canyon' Also: There is the option to use armour abilities while holding objective items. Forge officially confirmed. Image of every item that is "visible to players in the Armory on Day 1" In 'Deja View' Sarge's jetpack animation was a bug and is fixed.
You can move with the hologram active. In the update he talked about tricking a hunter with his hologram and assassinating it. Also, I'm pretty sure you pick up armor abilities like you do weapons in campaign. I cannot explain how happy that makes me. If there's a wraith, grab your armor lock. If there's a big boss dude that needs assasinating, get your hands on some invisibility. It adds a whole new aspect of strategy to it
You point where you want the holo to go and hit left bumper (or whatever armor ability is for your control scheme) and it walks in a straight line. you are free to move. an interesting thing it said in the update was that sage tries to trick people by pointing straight down so the holo stands still and then walking away in a straight line.
