    Alright, So I just got my Dazzle video creator plus HD in the mail today, but for some reason (Thats probably common sense.) it is looking pretty crappy. I don't have HD cords for my Xbox, but I don't think it would make it look this bad.

    YouTube - Cap test

    I just got this test video uploaded on youtube, but there are plenty of things wrong with this. The quality is crap, its not widescreen, and there is a border type thing around the whole film.

    Can anyone help me on fixing these problems?

    The default one. Pinnacle studio HD.

    And now, Pinnacle won't recognize the capture card ;~;

    Grr.....Once i can get back to my xbox, I'll take a screenie and whatnot of what is happening. when i hit the import button and i have everything hooked up, it says failed to something something.

    EDIT: Oh yeah. I'm running windows 7 too, if that might cause it.

    The AMCAP picks the Device up, and says it is recording, but it comes out in some weird format.

    Okay, This JUST popped up. I'm assuming that My laptop doesn't have a good enough video card?

    [IMG]

    So what would i have to do to make this work out? I tried to run it in XP service pack 3, Vista, and Vista pack 3

    I was thinking about getting Sony Vegas. Does it have an IMPORT like this? And do you think if it does, It will do the same thing?

    Always do your capturing in the program that comes with your capture card. Now, you have to reinstall the Dazzle Drivers for Pinnacle to recognize it.

    Machinima.com :: View topic - FAQ for Dazzle and Pinnacle Studio

    Also, the reason it's capturing in 4:3 ratio is because you have to manually set it to record in 16:9 on both the Pinnacle software and if you don't want everything squished (which you don't), your Xbox.

    Now about your quality issues, that's standard definition. All of my videos are the same way.

    Yeah, I figured out the 4:3 ratio, and i'm gonna go ahead and re-install it.

    So yeah, that didn't work. I still get the same message. Thanks for the help, though, Bloo jay
