    MLG Mayhem

    MLG Mayhem is a competitive MLG map deesign and made to be played with gametypes that are part of the MLG rules and settings. The Maps basic design was inspired by many maps such as Heritic, MLG Onslaught, and MLG Amplified.

    Weapons on Map

    - BR x6 10 sec.
    - Carbine x2 30 sec.
    - Frags x4 60 sec.
    - Stickies x4 60 sec.
    - Mauler 120 sec. (Drop Spawned)

    Gametypes

    - MLG Team Slayer
    - MLg Multi Flag
    - MLG Oddball

    I played this with you a little bit, and I have to say this is one of the best small maps I've seen. Although the mauler was a little too overpowered in my opinion. Good job JP.

    This map has some little disadvantages Peloquin.

    I can see it´s breakable and you know it is. The Spawn points are a little bit weird. Lots of Spawn killing and once one team takes the lead it´s hard to get it back. There is a lot of taffic in the sides result of bad spawn points placement. I would like to see more spawn points pointing to another direction. Even the middle which is supposed to be a traffic area isn´t.

    The center of the map looks really full of stuff, this reduced player traffic in that specific area basically cause you don´t let them move with freedom. Also the colums that are in that zone are breakable due to bad object placement.

    From that the triple wall layer in each side of the map isn´t enough to avoid getting out of it. The colums in the middle, the walls in the Hall which connects the bases with the sides, the Angled Blocks in the sides, and the Obelisks in the bases are there to help people get out of the map. It´s really easy to do it.
    Also for the amount of objects you used and the map budget I highly doubt you could fix it.

    Sincerily this map isn´t one of your best creations. It´s Asthetics are really descent and the map overall is neat. But Gameplay might be really boring and repetitive. I would like to see more from you in the future...

    Not exactly add more to it, but run-over the points which Halomcee thoroughly listed. Make your map non-breakable. Lower the scale of the tall structures just a tad so you can't make that final jump to escape.

    Also, with the centre of the map in mind, there's only 2 ways from ground level INTO the Mauler spawn. Could it work possibly if you delete ONE of the ramps from either side of the Mauler spawn but on opposite sides?

    That is, if you understand what I'm on about...

    Well JP your brother likes the map but I honestly can't see whats so good about it. I've seen this all before. Yes it was neat and all but it just seems like a copy of every other map out there. Good try. try harder next time buddy

    Because it has the same Design/Concept of 80% of all MLG maps.
    Heretic, Amplified, Onslaught.... See what I am getting at here? They all have 2 bases and 2 towers. It gets kind of boring and is done all of the time.
    This is a good start for your next MLG map, but now that it's extremely easy to forge, most people are looking for more creative designs. Like Guardian. Its asssymetrical but still plays well as an MLG map. I'm not saying to recreate Guardian, but to make an asymetrical map that plays well.
    Good job on the map JP, I want to see a more creative map from you next time.
