I am probably going to dive into forge, look at the features, mess with it for a bit, then blitzkrieg the campaign. You guys?
My friends and I are going at midnight to get it. Then we're going up to my band's practice space, which is in a giant warehouse in the middle of nowhere, and we're gonna pull an all night LAN party and do 4 person co-op legendary campaign.
When I get Reach I will probably mess around in forge a bit and maybe try to find some glitches. Then I will check out custom games a little. Then I might play firefight or campaign, depending on how I feel.
Actually, scratch that. I'm going straight to forge to see if interlocking/geomerging/floatspawning all work still, then into the arena.
I always play campaign first. I might not finnish it before i try out something else, but for some reason i feel campaign is what im supposed to do first Honestly, im hoping forge is set up well enough so that glitches, though they may be found, wont really be nessasary
I want to go get it at midnight, but get this, IT COMES OUT THE ****ING DAY AFTER MY BIRTHDAY! Why can't stuff come out on a Monday? But I'll probably speed play through campaign on Legendary, then into Matchmaking!
If I pre-order it from the same place as I did for halo 3 and have it sent as a buisness delivery to my mums work I get it 6 hours earlier than the midnight release So I'm gonna to spend some time offline at first in campaign and then I'll get a head start in forge, maybe build a map or something so its ready to be posted once the official release happens so I can be the first to post a reach map :Þ
I'm going to Forge like a boss for a whole week, and then maybe some campaign (and forge). After that I'm going to play matchmaking and forge. Did I mention that I was going to play forge? -.-
There is a little store in my town that sells games about 2 days before they are released, I got Halo 3 on september 24th, let's see when I get reach =P
It's always good to throw garbage together and post it on the forums in order to gain bragging rights.
I was joking but saying that I'm hoping that the new forgin system in reach is good enough that you can make a fairly good map in a few hours.
I wouldn't count on the entire system being redesigned. It'll have some cool new bells and whistles, but its not going to build the map for you.
If forge gets hyped up and is as good as it's said to be, then I'll check that out first. Then solo campaign on Legendary
See I agree with this, I want to experience the story first, sure I'll look at forge, but I'm going in to look, then I'll play the poop out of the campaign and get back to forge. And I will unfortunately play some matchmaking just so I can get cool stuff for my spartan.
First is jumping into Forge and Customs and just checkin' out the options and giggling like a schoolgirl. Then maybe a little campaign but most likely I'll be playing matchmaking or customs most of the night.
First, I will play matchmaking to get highest skill ten(because I don't want to be qualified as a noob.) Next is campaign with my hardearned armor. Third, now that I am familiar with the default settings(not my controls, I use bumper jumper. I am reffering to the shields, damage, weapons, etc.) I will get familiar with all of the custom games settings. After I understand the custom games settings, I will create a forjurah! With the customs being fully understood as well as people's reactions being learned with matchmaking, our skills in forge would be better than just opening up forge right after it comes out, right? Of course we have to explore forge as soon as we get, I am just saying we need to be familiar with the game before we actually try to make something epic with forge.
