Hello, I'm new. Every map I download at bungie.net is make perfect!!! I don't know how to do!!! Then, is there one who can help me, who is good at forge??? I've good ideas but i can't make that. Thanks, if you want to help me my gamertag is ATTLO. Sorry for bad english, i'm italian
I've read that time ago but i don't know how to put object perfect, now i read, but if there is one who can help me I will happy
Brace objects before merging. Don't just spawn and place. Take time just making sure it aligns with the grid, etc. Get a second controller and use that as a second pair of eyes.
Well when you spawn an object it is instantly straight, if you carefully put that on the ground, you can push other objects against that first guide so everything is straight in your map.. Hope that helps. I use this method for ghost merging.
They take amazing amounts of time (And I'm not talking about minutes. Half an hour or even more) to place their objects.
This is obvious to us, but I know I've met some people that didn't know you can rotate objects with the right trigger and the sticks... Just making sure...
Yeah or you could be like me where you take an hour per object. About 20 minutes placing it perfectly and making sure its lined up, then forty minutes jumping around the map
but so are perfect, sooo perfect and symmetric... like http://www.bungie.net/online/halo3usercontentdetails.aspx?h3fileid=106428507 and like http://www.bungie.net/Online/Halo3UserContentDetails.aspx?h3fileid=72802428
I don't get what you are trying to say to be honest. I was pretty sure B3NW got to the point pretty good. In fact that was pretty much what I was going to say. Bloo Jay and cart0graph also gave some good tips as well. Could you please clarify.
its all patience and practice. I still haven't gotten it 100%, and I'd guess even the best are always improving. the more you do it, the better your maps will start to look
We have already tried to help you. The ONLY thing that you can do to make perfect maps is have PLENTY of PATIENCE. Also, please refrain (Don't) use colors when making a post. This website has two skins, a dark and a light, and black is harder for the dark style to read.
Sorry to say, but this thread is basically turing into a spam thread now. You have asked the same question over and over. In order to be good at the forge you must spend a lot of time practicing. The best forgers spend hours and hours making their maps. What kind of answer are you really looking for?? Do you just want attention. The best advice we can give you is practice and experiment. No one can give you a two second answer and then like magic you are going to turn into a pro forger. DL some good maps and take them apart. Practice and experiment with forging on your own time. It takes months if not years to develop good forging skills. Start working on your skills instead of posting simple minded questions and responses./
