there are a few pokemon i need to add to my pokedex...If you have leafeon or glaceon,as you cant get them without trading,and I havent encountered one so I can ask. OR if you have any of the turtwig family,I have all the starters from every generation but them. Also,there is an event jirachi until next month,serebii has details.
So I started using the GTS for the first time... it's really funny how people offer up something like a Zigzagoon or something and ask for a Shaymin or Darkrai. I swear, at least half of the people wanted Shaymins, Mews, or Darkrais. Anyway, I got a Rhyperior, Shroomish, Mr. Mime, Flareon, Roselia, and something else I can't remember. Some guy was offering an Infernape for a Bulbasaur. But OF COURSE he wanted a FEMALE Bulbasaur (mine is male and could only breed males with Ditto). So then I found a guy who was offering a female Venusaur for a Totodile... female. Mine's a male. FFFFUUUUUUUUUU-

See this game sounds better and better with all the new updates. Triple battles? Sweet! Different camera angles during battles? nice! A look at some of the new pokemon? What the ****? Basically, I get pumped for this game when I hear about new features, then once I see the new pokemon, any excitement I had for this game is gone. Right now, I hate every pokemon except for the two legendaries and two others. The rest are all retarded. I can't imagine what they'll do if they add evolutions to previous pokemon. They need to go back to the cool looking pokemon in the first three generations. I don't think I ever hated the look of any pokemon from those generations. It's making me not want to get this game. So, now that my little stupidlookingpokemon rant is done. Who here has got the event Jirachi yet?
Inorite? Everything looks like they are trying too hard, and the legends look like something off a Yugioh card or something. Triple battles sound like a "sure, why the **** not" idea, and the 3D looks like it's messin' with the formula a bit too much (and all logic within this game, I can't wrap my head around it). I'll admit that the moving battle scene is cool, but if that's it, SS is my last pokemon investment. I got my Jirachi in SS and it's Timid, now in Platnium, I'm trying to get one that is Jolly, Naive, or Hasty for a Lead. Thanks Nintendo, for giving me a free, kick ass, OU Lead with out much effort.
I like Black and White is even less now that they have released pictures of 7 new pokemon, they all look stupid
what would like them to do? the first two generations and most of the third were pretty much all just animals with some element of nature. They ran out of animals. also yes i have jirachi.
So I got a Sableye from the GTS that was infected with Pokerus. If only I could've gotten it earlier when my main team wasn't in the high 80's and low 90's... I can infect a Pokemon for you if you'd like.
Ok so I've only had Platinum for a week or so now, and it's the first game i've had since ruby, which was a long time ago. So I was wondering if you guys had any tips or anything, I know i've already missed all the wifi events which sucks balls but oh well, I still have pokemon crystal and blue i think so if i can find an adapter cable i'll be able to trade those pokemon off if i can ever figure out how... Friend code is 3954 1244 1866 btw if anyone has any generous trades, I have Giratina (55) Empoleon (68) and Azelf and Uxie both at (50) as my current top pokemon, which sucks I believe but i only just finished the elite four and haven't even bothered with the battle frontier yet... GameFAQs: Pokemon HeartGold Version (DS) EV Training Guide by 211kyle211 I don't know if you know what EV training is but that is a guide about it. I suggest reading that and they trying out the battle frontier, mainly the battle tower. It's a lot of fun. That is for soulsilver and heartgold but you can just use google to find the diamond and pearl version.
So that's where you've gone... My advice would be to get Some E.V training in. A great place for special attack is in the old chateau(spelling?) It has only Gastlys, Haunters and Gengars( in the room with the eyes.) Which are great for training Sp. Atk as they give 1, 2, and 3 E.Vs each, respectively.
After the Crystal and Blue/Red Generation, you weren't able to trade to them. Like, you can't trade your Platinum with Crystal or your Blue version. A bit of advice that I actually did do when I was a kid, is to never give your starter Pokemon HMs unless it's Surf. Grab a Pokemon that can learn a few HM's and just make it an HM slave. Like Gyarados, it can learn Surf, Whirlpool, Waterfall, Strength, and I believe Rocksmash.
Actually I usually make my starter an HM slave. My Empoleon know Surf, Waterfall, Strength, and Rock Climb. I don't usually use my starter anyway.
When you start battling, my advice is to get a pokemon that can act as a medic (wish passing, softboiling, status curing, etc) and/or a pokemon that can reliably induce sleep, burns, or paralysis. These little bits will help you out a lot early on while you craft your own teams and strategies; be they offensive minded sweepers, a balance of offense and defense, or even more advanced niche teams that depend on weather, trick room, etc. Oh and if you want/need anything special, I can get you any non-legendary pokemon, I breed em like no other. I've even gotten the IVs down now.

luxray is the best,i am raising a level 58 shinx,a 57 luxio,and a 60 luxray,all with special moves. Also,ditch the ponyta,and just get something with fire type moves.
