With Bungie Day creeping up on us (T-Minus tomorrow). What do you think Bungie's got up their sleeves? Could it be some sweet info on Reach, or perhaps nothing at all? Last year's Bungie Day was an awesome surprise, and they better make it good this year.
Oh, I totally forgot about Bungie Day. What was last years'? I know in 2008 Cold Storage was released and in 2007 they had all of these DLC content like the Bungie Day Xbox 360 theme and gamerpics that were free.
Last year they gave people Recon that they incountered if they beat them in a 4v4 match. So finding them was the biggest challenge, since everyone wanted some Reconz and you could get matched up with regular peeps like you and I
I have a feeling a bunch of 1-time only Reach downloads are going to hit the marketplace, like Themes and Gamerpics, similar to how it was in 2007 prior to the release of Halo 3.
I'm guessing it will be more Reach information, like the remaining armour abilities, free digital content (like cortinator guessed) or some other Halo 3 matchmaking spectacle. What I hope it isn't. A remake of Cold storage, only upside down.
I'm hoping it's the big reveal of forge. I'm excited for the new things they've possibly been hinting at, and I hope to GOD that space battles are a multiplayer mode as well... Imagine infection IN SPACE! I'm probably wishing for too much, But I'll settle for good ol forge with a few new sick nasty things added.
They are going to tell us that they are putting ghost jumps everywhere in Reach. Dat would be da bomb!
I'm sure it will just be something like...if you pre-ordered Halo Wars you got the flaming warthog, or the golden assault rifle in GoW2..my guess is you get something that only the people that play Halo 3 can get and it will show up on multiplayer.
Same as every bungie day, Bungie comes to my house and gives me cake, then I notice my lack of pants, and then I wake up... Honestly, I think they're just gonna release a new vidoc, you have to remember that they're busy making reach after all.
If you get the limited, you get an elite armor that looks secksay as hell. If you get the legendary, you get Recon.
Do you ever get these offers? I've gotten like a couple, from like Gears and stuff, but we always pre-order and always pick up first day and we never normally get any of the special offers here in Saskatchewan.
From working at EB games: The employees are retarded. It's basically that they don't care if you get one or not and they usually ship a limited amount for smaller games. Though I did get my Johnson for ODST so I'd say you'll be okay for Reach launch.
I never got Johnson. And same with Halo Wars and the special unit skin. Hopefully my EB learns to care.
Probably a vidoc for Halo Reach or maybe some gamerpics/themes of Halo Reach. Nothing that special though.
