I proudly present one of my greatest aesthetics maps, The Drive-Thru. It has a very simple history, starting out as a simple, bland drive-thru used for fun. But I decided to improve upon the idea and bring something new to the table. Why else would you be looking at the first drive-thru on Sandbox ever posted? It has many major and subtle features scattered throughout the map. Can you find them all? It works with every gametype and is machinima-ready, but I suggest taking out entrance to the inside (You'll find out why later). Because most people prefer pictures, I'll let them do the talking. -You have no idea how many hours it took for me just to perfect this little guy. -Please direct your attention to both the lighting and interlocking. -Those meal choices don't look very tasty, to be honest. -So what if you can see the inner workings of the chimney? It actually works! Oohh! Ahh! -I was only able to get these pictures because the drive-thru was closed. Wait, it's a game?! Sorry, I get a little confused between the two because it just looks so realistic! -In order for this map to be machinima-ready, I provided all the necessary equipment. Yah, you knew there was a catch, didn't you? Well, actually, there isn't (See below). -Simply delete this teleporter behind the door to make the inside inaccessible. Well the drive-thru is amazing. I love the voice box part. I had a question though why did it take you so long to do the guy at the begining? anyway good looking map I believe it would be really cool if there was more of an inside to it but it is called "Drive Thru" so it isnt necessary.
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. And have you ever played the original Grifball on Foundry? They used a much larger person (He was carrying a powerup to symbolize the ball). Just like that, you have to perfectly match up the end of the teleporters with the wall and constantly tweak it to get it just right.
The hard work paid off well. The little guy is truly a unique aesthetic touch,Is that the sign for the Drive through? If so I would put two Ls on top of it ,also another suggestion is about your menu screen, mabey put a single wall there and use your teleportal fusion techniques to ad some life to it along with the power ups.Nice map man keep em coming

Well, most people expect these forums to be full of beautiful but unplayable maps (some are playable, but they are horrible). I guess no one is suggesting any changes for v2?

It's a good drive thru map. My friends and I had a blast playing on this and killing each other in drive-byes lol.
Nearing 1,000 downloads! Maybe I'll make a better Drive-Thru in Halo: Reach! I can already think of the features (But I won't say any as it will spoil the surprise)!
