Hey guys what does it mean by ready to kinect on the new xbox? Also does kinect use a optical plug like the laser plug?
Haven't you watched the E3 Press Conference for it? You can order the new Box right now. Kinect will connect via USB on your old Xbox or via a Custom Port on the new one.
I did watch it. With the weird entry of old cavemen and elephants then the turning screen that went upside down that was the Kinect thing also I watched the one where they showed off the new games coming up.
You DO NOT need the new Xbox 360 to use Kinect. Kinect comes with a USB adapter if you don't have the new one.
I'll probably get it since I want the 250GB we have problems with wired internet and if I got wirless and the 250GB it would cost about 200 bucks or more already... also the does the Xbox have a built in Optical Laser for microphones like Trident and Turtle beach?
GameStop is doing a trade 'up' bonus where you can get the new console at a reduced price for trading in your old Xbox 360. If I read the email right from our district manager you'll get like $40 dollars for bringing in your Wireless adapter, $60 or so for a 120 gig hard drive and about $25 for each controller. (This is of course depending on the conditions of said items, etc) Also, we're getting the shiny new consoles tomorrow and I might just have to think about getting that new console. Job at GameStop FTW!~

What's the problem? You can use either a Flash drive you have to transfer your data a few gigabytes at a time, or you can buy a transfer cable from Gamestop for 20 bucks and do it all at once.
Last year's E3 /facepalm They made in clear in this year's E3 press conference that NATAL WORKS ON EVERY XBOX 360 SHIPPED.
I luvz teh new sexc 360! All microsoft had to tell me was that its now "whisper quite" and im buying it. You guys have no idea how loud my xbox is. My brother walked into the room one day and said, "whats wrong with your xbox? it sounds like its about to take off!" I Lol'ed for about 3 minutes...
I'm still thinking too since we might need a new computer so I guess I can wait till november and get the kinect and New Xbox360 all together. That just depends if me and my sister's mom will let us put our money together and buy it.
How can it drop in price if no price is announced? Sure, some places are listing it at $150, but I wouldn't hold that to be true. Also, just got home with my new Xbox! I'm about to hook it up.
