Firefight as recently been confirmed by Bungie on G4TV's live stream of E3. Another couple cool things we have learned from watching gameplay of the new Firefight mode first introduced in Halo: ODST are shown below: Reach's Firefight mode is playable with up to 4-players co-op like in Halo: ODST Players may now search for other people playing Firefight via Matchmaking A new armor ability has been introduced that allows the player to set down a bubble shield that acts exactly like the bubble shield from Halo 3 except it also heals any player that is in it along with blocking bullets A new weapon named the Target Locator might possibly only be used in Firefight and has the ability to call in air support to fire at whatever you aimed this new weapon at. A green circle is used to identify the area you have set... This sounds great, and for all we know they may be adding more stuff. I also like the prospect of calling in an "airstrike" of sorts sounds interesting. The drop should sounds useful for dangerous situations. I have a question though, how did they obtain the airstrike marker and how much damage did it do. Also, the map that they played on, what was it like? Those are all the questions and comments I have for now.
Hunters looked sexy, much more big and intimidating. If you look at the picture with the airstrike, there is a blue ring on the ground. That is probably the center of the strike. And I could assume that it does enough damage to obliterate someone and loose the body. It blew up the phantom above.
I'm excited!! First thing's first, I'm going to beat Legendary Campaign, then I'll play this for the next week probably. Loving Bungie's new AA! All-in-all, I'm ready. Firefight's looking like dead sex right now.
At 42 and 51 seconds there is a blue weapon which shoots explosive bolts, but these bolts are more like explosive rockets than the plasma repeater ones. I don't if it's just me, but they look like a new weapon.
That weapon u r talking about looks almost like the plasma repeater except it is orange. It shoots like a Fuel Rod, but they explodes on impact. I think it is called the concussion rifle, not sure about the name...

I really hope they include a Matchmaking for firefight, it was annoying having to get a full party in ODST
Do you know why this firefight will never get old compared to previous firefight and horde mode? Im going to set every single wave to RANDOM. Im so sick of knowing exactly whats coming.
And such? Does this mean we can rearrange the moveable crates and other small senery? I'm not getting this fully.. lol
