I'm digging the new map pack a lot more than the first one. Trailer Park, Vacant and Carnival are welcome additions. Trailer park is ****ing great for Domination. When **** goes down, it goes down. Carnival is just a great breath of fresh air though, and a fun map too. Vacant was never a favorite of mine back in the day, but I enjoyed the 3 games I've played on it so far. Strike? **** Strike. How many more god damned destroyed Middle Eastern cities with streets and courtyards and buildings do we really need? Oh well. Fuel I'm still uncertain on. I like fighting in the warehouses and office buldings, and it's definitely a good map, but it's just too big for 6v6. I hope it appears regularly in Ground War, that'd make it a bit more fun. I love that staircase near the pipe, though; I could sit there and kill unsuspecting noobs all day.
haha, i pretty much agree with you there. Carnival, whilst it's good to camp on, it is so hard to spot people, and more often than not they will come from the only place you're not looking. Carnival is definitely my favourite of the maps, and awesome for wallbangs too .
I don't follow. I've been watching the video over and over again, but I still can't figure out if a teammate or an opponent called that nuke
lol it's not that bad. I got a few nice clips in that game for my dualtage anyway, which is the main thing i'm doing at the moment. It was only like the first game i'd turned it on too .
Strike is FRICKING AWESOME. I missed it, moreso than crash or overgrown. Quite like trailer park, haven't played much vacant. Fuel is less then great, very campy / tubey. Sigh. And carnival is very different to everything else, not just because of the theme. The layout, objects and places are completely new to MW2, but so far I quite like it. More playing to go on this, methinks.
strike- I still don't feel like it fits well with mw2. there aren't enough ways to maneuver around i feel like w/o being in the wide open. Vacant- one of my faves from cod4 and i actually do like it on mw2 aswell. I had a 72-5-25 game of demolition earlier on it with only using UAV, Counter UAV, and pred. Fuel- my favorite out of the new maps just because it has sooo much to it. It is very campy, but there are plenty of ways to deal with them. I just like the feel of moving through area to area like its a new map. trailerpark- im very iffy about this one. I feel like it works well with S&D, but all the other gametypes seem way too irritating due to all the camping in the buildings. shotguns really dominate on it aswell carnival- its alright. It adds a lot of new obstacles and objects, but its extremely campy. There are so many spots that people can just sit at and look downsight for easy kills. My favorite on this map so far has been capture the flag i dunno why.
