So every time i try to download something (like an olnbc) and i pop in halo 3 it says "transfer failed, file will begin to download immediatly." Anybody else ever encounter this problem, and know how to fix it? This happens with EVERYTHING, even pictures and stuff. And i cant upload files either.
You are only allowed 100 custom items (maps, videos, screenshots etc) if you have reached this limit you will most likely see this message.
It could be a problem with your ISP, post your ISP and see if anyone else has the problem. It could also be simply a problem on your part. I'm assuming that you have wireless (you have a router) and that your NAT is moderate or strict, this is probable if you find it hard to connect to parties and/or games. To see if your NAT is strict then go onto the network test on the xbox (this is in the settings tab on the dashboard) and do the test. If there's anything wrong, the xbox will find it. If you don't feel up for portfowarding (basically the link I gave you) then download a program called 'teamviewer' and I will do it for you... Just post if you download teamviewer and I will give you instructions.
You also have a strange language. I have the same problem since 2 Days, I tried to Download some Maps for a upcoming LAN, but nne of them even started to download.
lold. I'm guessing if lots of people are having this problem then it is most likely that there is something up on Bungie's side. I haven't tried downloading anything but a few people have the same problem. Could be to do with Reach being shut down (AKA their getting rid of files in fileshares). I had slow downloads from Bungie in the days before the F&F BETA came out (month or so before public BETA)
Ah part one; I WAS on moderate, thank you that explains why I couldn't join a party. Howeve I still can't upload my map or download the canvas I'm trying to. My fileshare doesn't work either. And i've got less than 50 customs on my current HD.
I have this problem, too. I have no Family Settings, an open nat, lots of custom files spaces, but still, it won't let me download anything. If it has to do with Reach, maybe you should delete the beta from your hard drive's memory. Yes, it's still there, you just can't use it. This may make it work.
No I think it has to do with them deleting all of the extra data for reach. And removing the beta did nothing to help me.
I am having this porblem too. But when I did the tests it said PC not listed but I can still play LIVE. And I dont know how to fix it, anyone know how? And I have Open NAT and have all the necessary ports open.
You can't fix it since Bungie is the reason. I really hope they fix it soon, I want to release a Map before I go to a LAN tomorrow, but when nobody is able to download it that would be kind of stupid ..
Yeah I kinda hope they do too. I wanna see your map, and finally upload a couple of mine to my fileshare. Either way... Im pretty sure it will be done sometime soon though because bungie said that they would delete the customs friday and thats when the problem started so possibly they deleted an imperitive phrase, and since its the weekend nobody was at work to fix it. At least thats my theory. Edit: I also cannot see pictures on B.net anymore! Is this one just me??
