I think it looks quite nice, very pleasing to the eye, and as well as that I think it would probably play pretty well. I'd totally know if I was in the tournament, but hey, seems nice in both aspects.
Yeah its a pretty good map, the middle room will provide some entertainment. People are just looking at the pictures but there's a difference between looking at a few shots of the map to actually playing on it. Also to all those people complaining about rockets, mauler and camo, there are also snipers at each spawn haha I don't know how you guys come up with complex maps like this
Testing Tweaking, Testing Tweaking, and even more Testing and Tweaking...To be 100% Honest this map at one point was remade like 50% and look COMPLETELY different until my Chrst, Shad0w, TZ, and Rusty convinced me to work off how it is now. It went through some major changes though I can tell you this.
Probably my second favorite map to play on. It takes a lot of situational awareness to succeed in the individual battles.
Sweet map, good for competive gameplay. Maybe take out rockets? i no i did and had some better gameplay. thanks
What I love about this map is that it really feels like a Marathon level. The good ol landscape windows, asymetrical and seemingly random layout, the bizarre but interesting geometry that secretly hides polygon edges before the engine spasms... Very well done!
This is an interesting post. First, this map was the semi finals map for a Tournament based around MLG damage and speed with the starting weapon being a BR. Not complete MLG based but similar and competitive. Second, have you looked at the map? I doubt it, because there are quite a few weapons on there that don't look like BRs to me.
Pwnt. Ah, well I remember this map. I had it on my hard drive while I was going through my 1v1 phase, and I really did love it. But everyone that I showed it to didn't! And I could never understand why. The only problems I had with it were a few spawns, and the excessive amount of power weapons, but I thought the design was excellent. It played fluently with excellent flow, and all the weapons really added spice to the gameplay.
