Well, I'm almost certain that those two attachments will work in a similar fashion as the attachments on the helmets available in the beta; meaning we can take them off, or have one on. The problem is, I hope Bungie doesn't make it so that you need that Shogun U to be purchased before the celly can be bought. Knowing tsb, he's probably drooling over the shotty instead of recognizing that's Recon.
It extends outwards and grabs the foe by the face, flinging them across the map as they scream their terror due to the fact that they are now airborne.
Hey now... I saw the helmet. I didnt like it... So i checked out the sweet knee-pad armor. THEN I saw the shotgun, and THEN I no longer cared about the armor.
He asked what that little thing on the recon helmet would do if it was used as an armour ability. I gave a suggestion.
Bungie recently applied for a patent (copyright?) for a game related project known as Aerospace. There was some speculation that the engine Reach runs in is called the Aerospace engine (like the Source engine, the Unreal engine, etc) and Bungie is maneuvering to start licensing it out to other companies. It's a good move if you ask me, considering the massive upgrades this engine has had over the Halo 3 one. It seems to be capable of pushing the 360 to its limit while handling many objects at once in an online environment.
It could be a systems patent, but it's quite difficult to get those for software so it's likely a copyright. I doubt it's a new game since bungie isn't of the habit to announce something new before they get their babies out the door and settled. I think you're right about them releasing their engine. I'd love to see other companies using their amazing net code.
I just found this thread on the MLG forums about Bungie Aerospace. Still not sure if it's Reach related, but there are some articles from people who are more expert on these issues than my own memory of the speculation about the Reach engine.

Crypto, the second last one has the same symbol that the Halo achievement Maybe Next Time Buddy has. Do you think they could be related?
I think it might be, although it would seem weird if you got the medal for what the achievement says to do. The images url is http://www.bungie.net/images/News/Inline10/052810/sm/yoink.jpg. It has yoink at the end. As for the other one I though it might have been the Revenge medal but it looks nothing like the one from the beta.
I don't think you can constitute "finding" those when they come from the update -_- Headshot with lightning bolts is definitely uhh..whatever the headshot while sprinting medal was called, just got an upgraded look.
