Howd you like Generator Defense? I only got one game of it to work, but it's interesting. I'm avid to play more later.
so, the roof for my climbing comp is leaking apparently and it got canceled. I can now enjoy the last day of Reach
damn, the books are being updated (including new cover). so they don't break canon I guess. i like the cover art though.
Mark your calenders, Reach comes out on the 14th of September. Source: Halo Waypoint Facebook page EDIT: Here's another link as well for those of you who don't have facebook, as well as Waypoint's twitter page.
Well I guess it's safe to say that even though I did not enjoy the Reach beta I will be getting Reach after my birthday. Which I had hoped Reach launch would land on my birthday cause it would have been cool. What the hell am I talking about, imagine that sitting at home playing Reach instead of going out on my birthday.
http://www.bungie.net/News/Blog.aspx?mode=news#cid26642 Preordering limited today, I've been waiting for a preorder bonus announcement EDIT: wow that looks retarded.
that helmet attachment is kinda funky looking. Never the less, i hope getting it from gamestop at midnight on launch night is counted for getting the extra armor. I like having everything even if im not gonna use it.
I really hope that I get the Recon helmet for buying Reach early off of Amazon. They only give me the pre order items for some games.
All good news. Sept 14th, 3 days after my 18th birthday (I know, my birth date is on the 11th and it sucks don't have to ask me). The full game will definently be greater and more enjoyable and less frustration.
Ouch, Happy birthday Will. This is a little off topic, but there weren't many related threads I could post to. I came to an interesting deduction today regarding player traits changing with loadouts. Right now, I believe that there is a default player trait (Health, Shields, Speed, Gravity, etc) applied to all players in the game for the entire match and that the loadout simply decides what tools the player has at their disposal at spawn. Armor abilities are one of these tools. It is generally assumed that Armor Abilities will have customizable duration, cooldown recharge rate, objective possession, (etc) for custom games. The relevance being that unless there's a list of editable AA's in the gametype editor that applies to all players, Loadouts would be able to have individual player traits linked to them. Further relevance? Super sexy special infected infection gametypes are a small example. tl,dr: Player traits linked to Loadouts? Meh?
More of my friends will play Reach over L4D, that one game that is going to lose all creditability when Reach completely trumps every FPS with it's extensive custom games editor. Plus, there was totally a lack of jetpack zombies in left 4 dead anyways. I'll play left 4 dead with you!
So.... Does that recon helmet have that attachment in the event you want to place a 32oz cup on your helmet? Seriously, if (I know they don't) but if, each armour piece served a special ability, what the HELL would that thing do?
A relay dish? For better communicating. It is recon. A camera on the side and a dish sounds pretty practical.
