Here's my idea for an Invasion "Remake": The gametype is a highly modified and technical one-flag. Elites are attackers, and Spartans are defenders. Elites would have a set of balanced out "loadouts" (room into which they must go before they can enter the battle field, containing different weapons and equipment), and spartans would have their own "loadouts" as well. Scattered across the map would be three "hubs" or "generators" into which the elites must fire or throw grenades to destroy the grav-lift. Once all three grav-lifts have been destroyed the elites will be able to access the main objective, but more on that later. "Hubs", or "Generators" would work something like this. Once a grav-lift is destroyed it will respawn forcing one block to be thrown out of the way, with three blocks restricting access to the "core" (Bomb or Flag). The "core" would be contained inside the spartan base, behind the previously blocked off hallway, and the elites would have to grab the "core" and get it to a certain area to "escape" (set off the bomb or capture the flag). This all seems a bit difficult to do in Halo 3, and could be cut short into a generator defense remake if need be. To do this, after all three generators were destroyed a room inside the elites spawn would be opened, and they would simply pick up a bomb and instantly plant it and set it off. I'm not that great with the forging aspects, but I'm great with ideas and decent with map design. If anybody wants in on this, just let me know, but warning: I'll be extremely picky about it. Thoughts?
Sandbox, about the same size as the NETWORK TEST 1 map I'm thinking. Maybe a bit bigger, most likely built mostly in the dunes.
Sadly, I have to agree with you. I have to do a project, and my partner insisted that he take the easy portion, leaving me with the hard stuff. inb4twss. Then I have all of this English homework to do... This might possibly be the worst weekend ever.
Same here bro. My teacher gave us an annotated bibliography 4 weeks ago and is suddenly giving us another essay. She gives us an essay every day so that we hardly have anytime to work on the annotated bib (my dad doesn't even what to call it). In other news I'll be attempting to acquire my permit next wednesday. I wanna pass becasue my dad is going to buy me a Mustang GT500 w/700+ horse power when I get my driver's license.
