So I got HeartGold to go along with my SoulSilver. I'm going to start with Chikorita and trade it to SS to have all three starters on SS. Then I'm going to restart and choose Totodile as my starter. From then on, I'm going to do a Water Monotype Challenge. For a final team, I'm thinking: Mantine Feraligatr Lanturn Kingdra Swampert Lapras With three of those, I take away the complete weakness to electric. Any suggestions?

a well rounded pokemon with a good fighting move would kill your entire team. yep my metagross and ludicolo could take them out.
I'm not that sure about the lucario,my blazican is jolly,and out speeds and one hit kills my friends lv 100 lucario. But for that metagross.......he might lose.
So, I got my Charizard from level 44 to 58 in about an hour off of wild pokemon. The charizard is not originally mine and has a lucky egg. 4x exp? It's stats are all about 100, except for the main stats which are close to 200. I looked at my infernape and Luxray to see what top teach them and my infernape's ATK and Sp. Atk are only off by a difference of 7 (ATK higher). My luxray is much mare attack oriented so Imma need some moves to teach it. It already knows Strength, Iron Tail, Thunderbolt, and Crunch. ATK is over 200 and Sp. ATK is about 180.
I have a suicune that has high ATK but still decent Sp. Atk. It knows surf which I think is physical so it hits stuff with its waves it guess.
For EV in pokemon speed, should I get the item for it because it raises the speed stat at the cost of speed? Doesn't make to much sense.
For every pokemon the holder KOes, it gains 4 EVs for speed, on top of the other pokemon's EVs you would get. While in battle, however, the pokemon's speed is halved. Use it to get the Speed EVs as high as you want, then take it off of it so it doesn't get the speed cut.

How do I get ceratin types of berries? I want to get a couple petaya berries but I can found out where or how to get them, can anybody tell me?
you cant get them in HG/SS. the ones you can get are the ones that reduce the effectiveness of super effective attacks, and the standard raise 10 hp, heal paralysis, etc. nor can you get it in gen IV. although i think you can very rarely get a petaya berry from the pokewalker in scary cave after 8000 steps i think.
