Seems like longer than it took a Beldum to hatch. Wait, can Togepi not breed? Togepi (Pokémon) - Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia If you mouse-over the little question mark next to "11 cycles" under Breeding, it says "not legitimately obtainable as an egg." WTF?
So Im putting a Battling team together finally. Im trying to be creative with it and not go with the most OU pokemon.... idk. Plus, Im going all shiny on my team... so its not easy to get lol. So far I have two down- a shiny Beldum and a shiny Omanyte. I'm not sure with much more on who Im choosing... but Ill see as I go.
I decided to make a battle frontier team (does it need to be 50 or 100 for wifi?) and this is what I threw together. Togekiss calm - serene grace EV in HP, 200 in speed, and 52 in defense light screen roost thunderwave air slash absol Docile Nature - super luck EV in attack and speed Superpower Psyco cut Swords dance sucker punch Garchomp no clue what its nature is - no clue what its ability is EV in attack and speed Earthquake Dragon Claw swords dance toxic Any critiques or pointers would be great, besides don't use "insert name here". These are subject to change at any time. This is just a quick throw together. I may sub out the togekiss for a breloom that is EV'd in speed and possibly HP or attack. It will run with spore, focus punch, a grass move and not sure what else
i wouldnt do a shiny battling team... well unless you want to take the time to get shinies with the right nature and IVs. i suppose it wouldnt take an exceptional amount of time through breeding.
Well see, the thing is, is that you can't really tell unless you've done the dedicated EV training. There are berries that lower EVs and there's a person who will tell you if you've maxed out your pokemon's EVs. Do a little research on that and see if you can find anything out. Nope. Your pokemon gets EV trained whether you like it or not. Its just how you battle with it. No matter what, when a pokemon defeats another, it earns EXP and EVs based on the pokemon it beats. Dedicated EV training means you only fight certain pokemon to get the desired EVs. Changes/advice in bold.
I'll take the ampharos, but hold the *****... Something um... less aptly named perhaps will do. --- Btw Klaydude, which FC of yours should I be using?
thanks man. Do I need to breed for aura sphere? and if garchomp is banned, whats a good replacement? and can I use all of these together online? (so many questions)
Aura Sphere doesn't need to be bred (a heart scale tutor will do). I don't think Garchomp is banned from OU in WFC although I could be mistaken. If he is, you could try just using the Breloom I mentioned as your lead w/ Togekiss as backup. Plus, passing a sub off to Togekiss or Absol is a great way to get them in free on the switch, especially since Absol is kinda frail.
you can still use garchomp at the battle frontier. i used to use mine. its just banned at like competetive tournaments and such.
Yay! I got all of my guys Im using for my team shiny and level one with the right natures and such. I don't think the pokemon I chose are necessarily an amazing team together, but I like the pokemon I chose so Im not complaining... My team will be as follows... Ninjask Omastar Hitmontop/lee/chan (havent decided which... I think top) Metagross Toxicroak Staraptor Again, not an amazing team, and I tried not to pick too many OU pokemon... but its decent and I like the pokemon I picked so yea... critique and **** if you want. Btw, its not totally final... I might choose to replace Toxicroak with someone better... but idk.
indeed. i just stopped using him cause he looks like an asstard when battling. but you can still use him in the non WFC whatever its called at least.
Here's some cool Pokemon pictures if you guys wanna see =] Spoiler Forgive me for not remembering the names of the last two. --- Oh and
My Platinum has every pokemon save for like five or six outta the entire game. Oh, and Red Army, you should show us that Celebi, seeing as they're EXTREMELY hard to get legitimately.
