I single handedly won a round of invasion for us in Invasion, the core was 2 inches from the hill, and I rolled a scorpion in there and blasted all the covies away for a solid 2 minutes, and after he said "spartans win!" I shot at a teammate (in good fun) and got booted...
I was in a banshee (stolen) and had just killed the carrier and three people around him. Momentum had caused the power core to fall into the drop zone so all someone had to do is pick it up to win. Then a teammate destroyed my banshee with two shots from an AR. WTF. We still won anyways. I did not boot because we kinda needed all the help we could get protect the power core while in the enemy drop zone.
Why does nobody use the Plasma Pistol? I've only been killed once by it in Invasion. Furthermore, why do people rage when I kill them with it? I get **** talked in the post game lobby for using it. I've even gotten a full team of Elites to use only the Plasma Pistol with me in Invasion Slayer and we WON despite being limited to Jetpacks at the end of the game. People rage so ****ing hard. I hope it doesn't get nerfed.
True that. Tool of Destruction PP is the greatest thing ever in SvE gametypes. So much rage coming from the other side. I always just tell them they should have magnum'd better.
i dont see why people use the plasma pistol or complain about it when the needler rifle, dmr, and magnum can outclass it at just about everything but shotgun range. i was just in a SvE game on powerhouse and the other team (elites) used nothing but their PPs. we won 50 to 19. and we were down a man.
Not all the time. it depends on how good your team is compared to them. I could go into the MLG playlist with 3 people, we get matched against triggers down, and then one guy quits. I'm pretty sure we would be at a disadvantage. Anyway, I hate generator defense.
how? if all players are of even skill, having an extra man means someone more firepower. if youre working as a team, an extra man gives you a huge advantage. are you telling me that you would rather play a game of just you vs. 4 other people when they are all sticking together and attacking you together? theres no way you would win, i dont care how good you are.
I don't know why, but I always play my best when I'm alone, though stat wise my K/D drops horribly I get 5X the number of kills I normally would. But I'll still lose. I'll have the highest personal score but I will lose.

Impossible. Having an extra man also means that he could die more, and it gives the other team another person to kill. If you have 3 people on your team, and 4 on theirs, your kill rate will most definitely be higher than theirs. It becomes more a disadvantage at 2 and an extreme disadvantage at 1 because you are severely outgunned. However, 1 man down is usually a big advantage.
If the team down a man is more skilled and the team up doesn't use teamwork, the team down a man wins. However, if the team up a man uses that as an advantage and sticks together to outgun them, they win.
