So apparently it's Zombie Awareness Month. Though we're already ten days into the month, I still thought this would be a good idea to share with everyone who is interested in ensuring that we secure a better future for those who have to survive through a zombie apocalypse. Originally from here. And so there's actually just a little discussion, what are you doing for Zombie Awareness Month? (Hint: It had better be a convention.) Cheers, Ghost
The guy doesn't actually explain why it's in May, despite saying he's going to. Failed Clintons rule of thirds.
From the source link, Matty: "Many films important to the evolution of the modern zombie are set in the month of May, from the original Night of the Living Dead, 1968, to the well received Dawn of The Dead remake of 2004. Also, because Spring naturally brings with it a sense of renewal and hopefulness, May is the perfect month to emphasize continued vigilance in the face of the coming zombie pandemic."
It's okay, I live on an island. The infection won't reach here, plus there's quite a large military presence here.
If the zombies ever make it here, the military's first priority would be the containment, quarantine and extermination of the infection, whilst evacuating the non-infected. If it gets out of hand, like say, more than half the population is infected, then they would start carpet bombing. It most likely won't come to that, since everyone watches zombie movies.
Never trust your safety to the military; they are a division of the government, and therefore corrupt. For all you know, there could already be a zombie invasion.
