i do most things with my right hand, open doors, grab stuff, but not everything. my whole left side is dominant over my right side, i punch with my left, kick with my left, my left eye has stronger vision than my right eye...
I, too, am left-handed but do quite a few things with my right. I use the computer right-handed for starters! It's almost like I do things left handed, if it's convenient, but I'll learn to do something right-handed if it would require more effort to do it left-handed, i.e. if doing it left handed required different tools, e.g. using a computer left-handed would have required a left-handed mouse, so I just worked with what I had at the time. I don't use "southpaw" controls in video games either. Ten-pin bowling is a funny one for me; I actually change between playing left-handed and right-handed depending on my mood. I think that's to do with having a dominant left eye, so if I use my left hand I have to use my weaker eye to aim and if I use my right hand I can use my stronger eye to aim, so I feel equally crap at the game whichever way I go! Also, it's scientific fact left-handed people are smarter...although I suppose, in Matty's case, there are always exceptions! (Noticing a UK-specific theme here)
Actually that's more of an old wifes tale than anything else. I watched a documentary on the history of left handedness [inorite, who makes a doco on that?], and there's been no official study that has proven that left handed people are any more or less intelligent/creative etc...
Thinking about it, the only things I do left-handed are: -Write -Spread a condiment -Stir with a spoon -Wipe my arse
