This is my newest game type and map. There is a base in the middle of the map with an attacking base to the side. each side has its own perks and reinforcment times. Whe forging, I was worried about the attackers and if they would be over powered, but I think I took care of that and then some. So if anyone plays it, please let me know if it's too easy for attackers to score. The game is a one sided assault variant. The bomb spawns right on top of the plate to arm it at. You don't have to worrie about getting the bomb there, just worrie about getting your self there. Attacker's Perks: Spawns 10 seconds in- Sentinel Beam, 2 Spike Grenades, 2 Plasma grenades, 1 Carbine. Spawns 30 seconds in- Grav-Lift. Spawns 60 seconds in- Grav-Lift, Active Camo, Over Shield. Spawns 120 seconds in- Ghost, Chopper. Spawns 180 seconds in- Active Camo, Over Shield, Banshee. Deffenders Perks: Spawns 10 seconds in- 2 BRs, 4 Frag Grenades. Spawns 60 seconds in- Shotgun, Sniper. Spawns 120 seconds in- Spartan Laser. Spawns 180 seconds in- Spartain laser, Rocket launcher. You should check out the Halo Forge Discussion for tips. Just putting some blocks and stacking them up doesnt really make a map good. I see you were working on the center for awhile, but then you rushed through the rest of the map. It still seems that one team might be overpowered. The defenders should have weapons that are in the middle of mid range kills. You gave them mostly far range with the lasers and rockets. The attackers have little defence with those blocks. Also, I see that your bomb spawns look messed up. In pic 3, theres a random floating bomb spawn in the far right corner.
Keep in mind this is the first of atleast 5 BETA maps before I release the actual one. I guess I should have said that befor though. If I can get some feed back that would be awsome. But I don't think thats posible with 0 downloads. The final product will have way better craftmans ship and won't be unfair to either team. Um, is this a map or a preview of a map? This map doesn't even come close to being finished. No offense but this is not good. But I also don't completely understand by what you mean as "5 beta maps". I see this map as a map stripped entirely of it's aesthetics and cover, what is this map really?
i honestly don't see what there is to test simply because there ISN'T anything to test except for running around a couple stacked blocks. i'm interested in helping you test it, even though it looks boring and dull. And even for a beta, this map is NOT done. It seems like you didn't take any time to think about a layout scheme, or even attempt aesthetics. but anyway, send me a friend request on XBL, and invite me when you're ready to test it. "BETA" meaning still under construction and "minimum of 5" meaning there will be atleast five maps that I will call a BETA. There might be more test maps than 5, but there wont be less. The final product will have geomerging to make it look better, and the stacked boxes for cover for attackers will ture into something better as soon as I get some feedback from you guys. I agree this is far from finished. The current plan is to release a minimum of four more test maps for you guys to test and release one a week. That makes it atleast 4 more weeks untill we come close to a finished map. Please help me by playing the map/game and send me some feedback so I can fix some things that are wrong with the map.
Not bad, the map looks pretty good so far. I have no clue if I can test it with me being grounded, and all of my maps going on right now. Its frekin hard to fit anything in right now. Sorry dude, wish I could help you test it.
