Don't think? It wasn't stupid at all, it made complete sense. The only thing "stupid" about it was imply 12 year olds crying about it. It was a simple reward for doing something in the community. Nothing more.
I too wanted my Rogue back, but at least this will force me to be creative and get something new out of this game.
I wanna see a buffed version of the Security Helmet. That's the only helmet I used in halo 3 and I'd be sad to see it go.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that there's probably going to be more new helmets than that in the final game, though I do <3 Jorge's helmet. Also, the underfined helmets look a lot like Carter's and the one on the main menu of the Beta.

I know they were nerfing them (well they were at least considering tweaks, I don't know how much they will change) but this will stop people from still complaining about them. (most importantly one of my annoying friends)
Thank god I'm not the only one. Everybody thinks that Security is gay, but it's my favorite in Halo 3. I find it pretty awesome! I agree that they should keep the security in Halo: Reach.
I finally got a chance to look at the info pulled out of the .map files and wow that's awesome. can't wait to get to fully customize my spartan if these options are true!!! looks like fire fight will be in too, maybe even customizable.....
Just note that it's not all correct. Example, one of the code says Pick up BR, which I believe has already confirmed to not be in Reach (same goes with other weapons such as SMG, sentinel beam, carbine, ect). The FF stuff could very well be some ODST stuff, though I'm hoping FireFight is available
If they have an SPI armor variant, it will be awesome. Screw it if I become a sniper magnet, Ghosts of Onyx is one of the better books I've read lately.
No armor will make you a sniper magnet. Your hitboxes are always the same, and don't give me any of that stuff about reflectivity, because it doesn't matter.
