Thanks to excessive porn viewing I've actually become less of a pervert. Shocking isn't it? The idea goes something like this: in the beginning everyone walked around naked because that's the way it had always been done, but eventually a group of tailors got tired of no one buying their clothes. Eventually they decided to make it seem wrong not to wear their clothes so that everyone would have to buy them. Time passed and people saw less and less of their covered bits. This created a hidden want to see each other, but thanks to the tailors this was considered wrong. However thanks to the internet it's become easy to do that again, so since it is no longer hard to come by the want for them has decreased.
Are you really using a tailor as a synonym for the hundreds of thousands of years of the advancement of the majority of human society and it's cultures? That's genius.
i would assume that most clothing originated from weather adaptation... i.e. turban for cooling, coat for warming... not to mention bible/torah/quran passages regarding uncovering nakedness --- lol i just saw FHwebdev lurking
It's all just a joke, but yes religion has had it's hand at clothing the world and so has the weather. However if you were to go to an island untouched by the outside world, say Chuuck before WWII, you would find the natives pretty much naked. (My dad happened to be in the peace core on Chuuck so that's why I'm using it as an example)
guam used to own the whole northern marianas until the spanish came and nearly wiped them out, so all the native guam peoples had to be restricted to living on guam only. ---
I'm really hoping that's a joke... I apologise if I insulted your intelligence. I don't apologise if I just insulted you.
Still waiting for my Xbox to come in mail, it came yesterday but no one was here to sign. At least my hacking skills allowed me to mess with everyone who has the beta for a while. (and before anyone gets obnoxious that is a joke, I didn't hack the beta to make the servers suck...........................or did I?)
