well I got to play 14 total games and about an hour and half ago the servers failed for me... ive got a .5 win ratio right now. I've done relatively even k/d wise. My best game was on powerhouse when i used sprint and kept control of the Grav hammer the whole game. Deadly Combo. I got 2 killing frenzies, and a dreamcrusher in one of them.
This is just like last beta! Who knew 2 millions people trying to access a brand new system for the first time would crash the servers. Apparently everyone on bungie.net, that's who.
Downloaded it in about 45 minutes, the game error thing stopped after about 5 mins, and then i had 3 games in a row. It stopped again for another minute or two then i had a game of Arena. This game is really easy but i'm disappointed in all the AR start. The beta looks much more competative than Halo 3's, where i just ****ed around with the sniper rifle. ^ welcome to the cool colour.
This is exactly why I took tomorrow off of work. Reach is sweet right now though, I'm playing just fine.
Shotty is amazingly cool! Sprint is epic, <3 Needle Rifle is BEAST. My fave weapon so far. Sword is great, as usual. It owns on Sword Base. Game is epic, and this is just the beta! And we only have two of the maps so far! Can't wait to play full on invasion and generator defense. I haven't played as a covy yet.
If you like the Needle Rifle you're gonna LOVE Covey Slayer, it's really fun. I like playing as Elites, the movement speed and jump feel right, whereas Spartan play still feels a little slow and clunky.
Played as a covy, the roll abilty is pretty cool, you can ***** short range weapons with em. Overall, I like powerhouse better, cause its more wide open. I'm loving flag on Swordbase though, I didn't figure it out for awhile, but.. you have to climb all three levels with the flag, so the cap isn't as short as I thought it was. Pretty cool design by bungie. Your probably just used to the faster movement and higher jumps with Halo 3.
