YouTube - Call of Duty Black Ops Teaser Trailer [HD]

    Release date - November 9 2010

At first I thought it was set in Vietnam, but when I saw the black hawks, pave lows, M4 and the AUG (among other clues), it appears to be set in modern times. It looks great so far, I hope Treyarch doesn't let us down.

<3 Game's gonna be epic, and we may get more zombies soooo **** yeah!

Main reason I anticipate Treyarch born Call of Duty games- they understand and listen to what their fans want. Infinity ward delivered one map pack with MW and an expensive **** tastic one for MW2, I'm not saying I personally didn't enjoy either, but Treyarch managed to keep their community interested with 3 map packs dished out over the course of about 9 months.

Why doesn't it look appealing? To me it looks like it will beat Modern Warfare 2 by a lot.

There isn't anything in that trailer that hasn't been done before and the whole resuscitation sequence is - yawn - boring. Besides, I've never liked Treyarch. I associate them with fail. Neither can they be original, they took the success of IW and clashed it with yet another boring WWII rendition.

I'm not even going to look into it anymore. Halo Reach will be out a month or two ahead of this and most won't give a damn.

But if it makes you happy then I'm happy for you.

According to that whole lawsuit infinity ward put against activision, only IW can make the call of duty games that are modern warfare. All call of duties that IW doesn't make have to make games before modern times.

Do these people ever just take time and put effort into making ONE GREAT game instead of just spamming the same **** over and over?

If you like it, then great, but Their games die yearly and another takes its place until the next.

Not really impressed. ALL GAMES COPY EACH OTHER. No one is original. Halo Reach/MW2 BFBC2/MW2
Well that has really nothing to do with this lol. Treyarch can only make this epic if I see some Nam Zombies.

Don't know about you guys but I like Treyarchs dark WW2 style i thought that was cool. But i will always hate any COD games muliplayer... I get so pissed off the fact that the game incourages camping.

I think it looks brilliant, as there hasn't been a well done Vietnam game. My only problem with World at War was when the MP40 caught on, and that's about it. It's obviously Vietnam as you see jungle many times and you see Vietcong Guerillas a few times also. I hope they bring back Zombies, but I'll definitely get this game either way.

wow, i'm totally not excited for this. I might get it if they fix camping, killstreaks, and weapon balance.

Steyr AUG was only adopted by the German army at 1977, Pave Low was only used in the late Vietnam war and the Black Hawk didn't enter service until 1979.

I think it's a fictional war in a jungle nation or something.

Typical Call of Duty game is typical and the whole Call of Duty is really getting annoying with a game like every year which play exactly the same as the last one...sigh

yeah, it definitely looks like its set in the vietnam war. It'll be a new experience from the WWll stuff. Plus, you don't see too many Nam games...

Was I the only one who was reminded of Assassin's Creed when watching that trailer?

No, I thought that too. Maybe they pulled something simillar to Assassin's Creed and had a guy in the future go into memories? That would explain the whole WWII - Present Day timeline.
