Well what was up with that. I played halo 2 every day for like an entire year and I didn't get crap. Is it because I'm not 18 or something? Ticked me off.
I don't think this is bad at all. I just don't understand it is all. In about 48 hours most of ya'll will be in the beta anyways.
Whats up with this. Beta codes? They are probably all taken by now (I tried like 12 and they were all already being used).
No ****.....I spent a half hour punching in codes, and I was only 9 minutes late to the party....probly 5 minutes too late.
For a lot of people, this was potentially 1/3 of the time they had available for playing the beta. Weekends are worth a lot more than weekdays.
You know that's three, right? And, yeah, Swat on Swordbase has been my favorite so far. The rest of the games are kinda meh. I can't wait for Invasion.
At least most of you are learning another downside to gambling. (Time is money, you're spending time in order to get codes, etc...) Anyways, you're almost always going to lose.
Getting a code would be awesome, i just don't have the time to search for them, oh well only 2 more days
I got a code and am very disappointed. There's too many l33t h4x0rz. The weapons are too over powered, except for the AR and PR. They both suck unless everyone is using them and grenades aren't a factor. It's fun to play until you get with high ranks who are actually high ranks. One guy on my team started screaming and left then it was me and my bro. 1 Flag CTF on Swordbase, 2 on 4.
You guys seriously don't need to stress about getting in, it's not that great. With only two maps to play and no Arena, it gets pretty old pretty quick. Just chill. However, everything his guy said is wrong (other than being disappointed, which a lot of you will be). There's very few 1337 hax weapons, it's just that more than two weapons are effective now. As a matter of fact, most weapons (sans the 1HKO ones) take way too long to kill and it gets annoying. Bungie's stress on this being "team" oriented is heavy. The game is very slow right now. The DMR and the Needle Rifle are a tad underpowered, and could do with a shot less to kill. Since the maps are so complicated people tend to run away before you can even fire the fifth shot. The AR is perfect simply because it's nearly useless and always dropped, thus not annoying like H3. The PR is godly and awesome, one of my favorite weapons. Grenades aren't a factor? This kid is crazy! One of the two major recognized flaws right now is huge frag damage and radius and the very broken melee system (really quick double melee, 2 in 1 melee glitch, slightly too large lunge). I honestly can't be bothered to use any armor ability but sprint (the others are much less useful and sprint makes up for the slow walk speed). However, this isn't bad because you don't feel like AA's change the game too much or become annoying. Evade is ****ing awesome and I wish it was Spartan. The Sniper is beautiful but it seems extremely easy to get headshots and pull ridiculous snipes. Maybe it's the hitscan. Like I said before, DMR and Needle Rifle could use a bit of a boost, but they're still good weapons to handle. Despite the damage, they fire nice and the bloom is a nice addition. The Plasma Pistol is ****ing awesome, you can actually kill with it. In general, the covy weapons are tank. You can't judge the beta too much right now, as Arena is lacking (so more competitive load outs are only available in FFA Slayer Pro) as well as the same two maps get extremely repetitive. Powerhouse is a fairly bad objective map (plays good Headhunter), but Sword Base is a solid everything. I really wish there was a third map in rotation though. Seriously, don't stress about the beta..it's worth waiting two days. That way you'll have Arena to choose from as well.
I have given up tryin to find codes. May 3rd it is...wait, no may 4th for me because its being released amercian time!! UHHHHHH But now Im taking into consideration what you ^ said. Hmm, I reckon the introduction of Invasion will be the best part of the beta.
