Yea, even if you're not getting head shots you can still get super combines. EDIT: Callouts are going to be so much easier now. This new callout system is awesome. I wonder if those callouts can be implemented in forge, but I doubt it.
Rusty they will be gametype settings edit: wait no I'm thinking loadouts yeah callouts wouldn't be TOO incredibly hard to program into a forgeable feature
If you could actually name areas of your map in forge, I would attempt to make a puzzle map/obstacle course for that reason alone
This is what I am thinking. There is an object that is much like a respawn area and you get to type in the callout. When someone walks into that area during gameplay, the typed callout will appear. Also, does anyone else see a resemblance between the needle rifle and an umbrella?
The people commenting on this video Ask Me Anything: Halo: Reach - Giant Bomb Are ****ing idiots and don't know what they are talking about. They got many things wrong and they couldn't answer many question that one of the guys had... Yet I could...
They did mention there would be a way to set the text of what areas you want something to be called. It was in a recent update. I'll try to find it for you.
Nah it's good, it's basically the Reach version of the Brute Shot thing. Just not as high a fire rate with a boost in damage. I don't see it being an issue. Also. --- Oh, and this: Welcome To Noble Team
Did anyone else watch the waypoint thing where you can see how the Rocket launcher has vehicle tracking like Halo 2. Awesome. Otherwise I'm interested to see what sort of new and interesting gametypes people can come up with. It seems like this time around mixing and matching gametypes is incredibly easy. Like it looks like Headhunter is Oddball+territories, where you can carry multiple oddballs. Then Stockpile is Neutral Flag CTF+Territories. And if I were bungie, I would have made it so Callouts worked in a similar fashion to spawn areas, where you can set it's size and name; and everything within that area is called that. Though they might be higher order than that.
i really like all the new little details they added, like the shell shock effect when a grenade explodes near you. i don't know why, but i appreciate little stuff like that more than new gametypes or weapons.
I mentioned this a few pages back, there's lots of anti vehicle weapons no? Splaser, Plasma launcher(lock on), rocket launcher(lock on)... Referring to this I think.
I noticed in red army's video of the grenade launcher that it brings down a spartan with full shields at about rocket launcher type kill radius. Is there a possibility the grenade launcher will be more powerful than the rocket launcher since it arcs and only fires a single shot at a time?
The grenade launcher shoots the same type of frags that you throw. They don't kill unless shields are popped. That's why, in other videos of it in game, people use it to lower shields and switch immediately afterward, like a Plasma pistol.
My main fear, is does the grenade launcher have a noob toob future... I prefer the brute shot over any grenade launcher to be implemented in any game (i never use GLs in games unless its my only other weapon) Maybe they would release an update that nerfs it if it gets too out of hand
