Sounds like they know what they're doing. Not only is this patch going to make BC2 more balanced than MW2 will ever be, but I'd like to note that there are no exploitable glitches in BC2.

 

Wow the game will now be nearly perfect. Some people will be pissed about the Bolt Action Snipers losing their range w/ magnum ammo. I could care less really...

 

I dont care about snipes. I hope they dont nerf shotgun range too much. I like teh damage increase though.

 

Tracer Dart's speed and AA Gun's damage increase sound great, now I wont have to resort to using the AT4 like this anymore:

Although, I won't worry about the Sniper Damage reduction all too much, unless you play hardcore. Headshots are the way to go, and will be much more rewarding.

That patch is actually making me consider jumping back into BC2. Seems like they confronted literally every single thing I thought unbalanced about the game.

 

I'm not complaining. The GOL my fav sniper, I can usually get a headshot with it. I'm saying some other people will whine.

I certainly won't mind a more reliable NS2000.

 

Now I have an excuse not to constantly use Recon as a counter-sniper! I can actually use other classes and not be completely dominated by a camper! Yess!!! This patch makes me want to go back to the game now more than ever, so I'll probably play it when I get home tomorrow.

This update sounds great - I can see myself with a better k/d, no more ****ing M60 abusers. And my XM8 will be getting a platinum star pretty soon with the update coming along.

 

Can you imagine? ACTUALLY tracer darting a Hind or Apache...

 

true, but if you can trace it (before update) youre wasting your time not shooting it.

For those who don't know what the content is:

All the classes get a new outfit you can pick in-game (example; Assault +) You can also choose one new gun... from each kit...

Assault = M16A2 SA (it's a camo'd M16A2, stats are the same)
Engineer = UMP-45 SA (it's a camo'd UMP-45, stats are the same)
Medic = MG3 SA (it's a camo'd MG3, stats are not the same)
Recon = M95 SA (it's a black M95, stats are the same)

You also can get pins/insignias for using these new add-ons so I'd say they're worth it.

Yeah. I have 6 classes. I'm so pro. Played some pretty good games yesterday. I still love the Saiga with the sabot and magnum rounds. Got my third gold star with it.

 

I've had my 3rd gold star with that gun forever ago. <.<

I really should get my plat' with my M60 before they nerf it. I think I need 1 or 2 more. >
