    & Why is that?

Campaign ended on an easy story extender, multiplayer lacked features which should have been there and would most likely be added for a newer version.

    Yes it does?

How about destructible floors? There's always room for improvement depending on your POV and the POV of dice will be that it needs improvement.

I read. Much indicates a smaller increment than lots. I said lots, you said much, read.

    Check if:
you have the actual grenade on, not smoke or shotgun attachment.
you shoot from a long enough range

BF is a PC series, BF3 will likely use the Frostbite engine, and probably include destruction. Consoles can't handle the amount of players and vehicles of the main series (BF3 is expected to have 128 players). BC2 sold less than 1 million units on each console, but over 5 million on PC

Why'd you buy BC3 on Xbox if you have a good PC?

The end of the campaign is the segue to the Multiplayer. Notice how it's always Russians vs Americans?

I don't like this game, compare to the original that is.

I mean, where are the ammo crates!? Remember in the first BC there use to be ammo crates placed at fixed locations on the maps. It was always convenient for whenever you ran out of ammo. Now I have to beg someone for ammo, and I usually don't get it. Only when a friend whos in my squad actualy helps out.

Another thing, where's the AA gun and howitzer? The AA gun was pretty darn helpful whenever a helicoptor came, and even when the AA gun was destroyed, you was still able to do some decent amount of damage to the Helicoptor with you primary weapons. Now the Helicoptors have upgraded armour, able to defeat "armour-piercing" .50 calibur rounds!? You can't even use the AA in BC2 like how you want to because it shoots bursts now and its attached to a freakin' light tank, which the helis can destroy pretty quickly.

Finally, where art thou howitzer? I mean i didn't use it much because it took forever to reload, but it was pretty fun to use. I guess it was taken out because the buildings in BC2 are fully destructible now...

Aside from those issues, I don't like the fact that they made BC2 more, serious, than BC1. I mean, I like BC1 for its colourful humor and its story revolving around a squad of misfits. The fact that they actually made an army division for delinquents was hilarious. Instead of doing what they were ordered to do, they instead decided to get some gold! I even liked it when it was called Gold Rush, because it was base off the story.

Now the colours of the game is dull and less fruit loopy, characters less funny, more serious. They drove golf carts in BC1!

Sorry about my rambling, but I never actually heard you guys' take on BC2...

They could, but I just don't think they will. Just look at the story compared to the original. They went a completely different way. I doubt they would just leech off of the BFBC2 story for the sequel. And I DO think there will be a sequel. Regardless of how much more it sold for PC, BFBC2 is leaps and bounds more popular than the original, and I'm sure a sequel to it would be equally more appealing to gamers. I still have over three times as many people that play MW2 on my friends list as BFBC2. I really doubt Dice would stop now in their quest to create the dominant FPS online experience.

I know where you are coming from. I've said from the first time playing the demo that I liked the original better. It seems like they just sold out and made everything similar to CoD to gain acceptance in the gamer universe. However, the only specific thing I agree with you on is the AA guns/Chopper armor. Hopefully, after this supposed update, that will be different.

I've said this before, the UAV replaced the Howitzer. It has the same basic premise: do damage from a far away station. However, the UAV takes a lot more skill, and can actually be destroyed without going all the way to the defenders base. Plus, the Howitzer was more of a nuisance than an actual threat. People just teamkilled over it, and afterwards, didn't really do anything of use with it.

As for the ammo crates, I don't miss them. I like the new system. Sure, they just needed another option for the Assault class to have at their disposal, but it really promotes teamwork. I never really have a problem getting ammo when I need it, which is rarely, since I use the Medic kit with Ex Ammo, so I start with 500 bullets anyway. Plus, there are always kits lying around to pick up. If you don't want to do that, maybe you should just use a class where you don't run out of ammo as quickly... or just die more often. =p

I don't know how you can say BFBC2 is less colorful. Just look at Valparaiso. It's amazingly beautiful. Sure, Port Valdez and Atacama Desert are dull and gloomy, but the rest of the maps are pretty vibrant.

I really liked the campaign humor. There may not have been as many jokes as BFBC1, but I cracked up several times, and still felt at home with the characters. I said to myself several times during the campaign: "Man, I missed these guys."

As for the gold crates, it never really made sense why you had to destroy them in the first place. I mean, after you would win, the guy would say "The gold is ours." Did we really have to blow them up to take them? Blowing up M-Comms makes a lot more sense.

I will take the ATV over Golf Carts any day.

In summation, I really loved BFBC1. I was disappointed at how much BFBC2 changed from the original, but I adapted to it, and, now, I'm not sure I could go back to playing Bad Company 1. Even with all the things Dice did differently, they kept enough the same to bring back the joy I felt playing the original. Sure, I yell at my TV a lot due to bad teammates or getting killed, but there's just so much I like about the game that I can't stay mad for long. From the pish-posh of your steps in the snow, to the expressions your characters shout in battle, to the way your body cartwheels after getting the **** blown out of you; there's so much to love about BFBC2.
