I finally hit my 100 file maximum on Halo 3 as I'm sure many of you have. Does anyone know a way around this? I'd hate to delete maps from my current collection, but love all the new ones coming out. Should I back them up to an external drive? Is that possible? Does Bungie allow me to buy more file spaces? I'm already a Bungie pro member, what more do they want?
I don't know if old map data counts towards the limit, but on the dashboard memory settings, you can delete old map data which is still saved deep down in Halo 3's memory. Again, I don't know if this helps or not.
It's not possible to give yourself more custom content without switching your save to another hard drive. Although, I do believe they said in Reach there would be a limit in the 1,000's instead of at 100. And just to point out: Maps, films and screenshots all are part of that custom content limit.
Isn't that particle effects? I really wish someone found a mod around this. Guess it's kind of a bit late now. Also, nope, now way round other than extra storage.
Use a memory card. Maps dont take up huge amount of memory and it will give another 100 custom content spaces. If you havent got one you can buy them quite cheap or you can use a spare usb memory stick.
I didn't say I didn't believe. Do not make judgements on my character before you've learnt how to interpret words.. Also, USB sticks work now, might as well start storing on there if your in dire need.
