I've googled it and found a few websites, but they all have sketchy trustworthiness, like not responding to customer service and all listing the same accounts. So I was just wondering if anybody knows a secure place/way to sell the account or if you have in the past. Oh and no eBay... I haven't used it in years and realized that I might be able to get something for it haha
It's against Jagex Terms of Service and Rules to put a RuneScape account up for sale. So my tip. Don't do it.
If like most people you ignore the terms of service I suggest selling it to a friend or someone you know and trust, thats the only real secure way of doing it that I know of.
I've heard so many stories of people getting scammed in either case; buying or selling. My advise, just hang on to it. You'll eventually have nothing to do and you'll return to Rune Scape to play for a bit.
Its too bad I can't sell stuff here, this is the most secure place I can think of hahaha. Scop, (I just realized that I oddly have not seen you recently) I honestly highly doubt that I'd want to return, especially if bethesda bothers picking up elder scrolls again... Whispy was it a legit account (as in nicely leveled)? beeteedubs mine is like 85-90 combat, over 1200 total, and at the time I only had two quests left (if I recall correctly it was Mourning Ends II and the fairy queen II), also I had like a mil in the bank with a **** ton of stuff. I once had a santa hat, bought it at 550K and sold for 6 mil. Accidentally wasted 3 mil on construction without watching my money. Took me awhile to realise it
Im so mad that I didn't sell my account years ago. Level 95 Full Dragon (when it was worth a TON) All Barrows sets Tons of valuable items Almost all quests done TONS of cash (thank God for scamming- it was like another skill) I would have made a good $400 off of it
Slightly off topic here, but a couple years ago, I made lv 10 str accounts and sold them for 5$ at school. I made about 60$ from that nice little scam I had going for myself.
Turns out the site is broken. (as in they mustve quit because the front page is blank and requires you to register to see its blankness...) So I still have no way of selling it. Any more ideas?
A kid at my school made $500 selling his on Ebay. He ended up buying an xbox and a **** ton of games with it. Why don't you just do that? you have no legitimate reason not to.
Fagex and sythe are the two runescape trading sites. You honestly won't get much for your stats or total levels. They are easy to build up. It's rare things that get you the money. Rare names (1 letter), rare items (sythe, bunny ears) or rare stats (1 def, 99 stats). Average high level acounts are too common really. Anyone still actually play? I still have a pure, that I started skilling on when they ****ed the wilderness up.
Why sell a Runescape account? 1) It's against the Jagex Policy which you're forced to agree to if you want to register. (it's a legal contract) 2) Jagex retains the right to your account, if you "sell it" they can sue you. 3) Who the hell buys Runescape accounts?
Money.... 1) mmmkay. 2) at&t can sue jailbroken iphones then 3) mostly overprivleged spoiled narcissist kids. or people who want to start out without limitations. or people who want a legit alt.
