Xbox LIVE gives 7 days of Gold to Gamers that bought the Stimulus Package on Day 1

Wow, Same Problem with the Videos. I got the same message. 7 Extra Days? That's really something to brag about. 'Hey Guys, I got 7 Days added because I got the Stimulus on Day 1!" (Other Friends)"Oh Yeah, I got 7 48Hrs Trials! What Now?"

My gold account ran out on April First, no joke, (April 1-5 were the days that Silver accounts were given Gold Privileges) and now THIS?!? its too good to be true!

Mine runs out in may, during the reach beta so I'm saving cash to get the year long one.

 

Well it turns out that buying the maps on day 1 INCREASES your live account by one week, not give you Gold for a week...

 

This really warranted a thread? It's not that much to brag about really. I'm happy that LIVE extended my gold by a week for being loyal, and hope they continue to do things like this, because it adds yet another apsect to the list of things that LIVE offers that PSN does not. However, I don't really think this deserved an entire thread dedicated to it.

 

I bought the DLC the second day and got it...
I'm not complaining.

 

I just checked, I got the 7 days as well, and I bought it a day after it came out lol.

 

I got the 7 days. It'll probably make my gold membership last until the end of this semester, so I can buy another 12 month after that.

 

I don't understand how this adds to the list. PSN has free service. Free.

 

Free service filled with laggy and glitchy games. More laggy and glitchy games than Xbox, as far as I know. Prove me wrong.

 

But all of that horrible glitchy bologna was free!
so if it sucks, you just move on, free of charge.

 

50 bucks a year is actually pretty reasonable, if you can't afford that then you shouldn't be able to afford an xbox.

 

is it really not selling that well that they have to do all these little gimmicks to get the sale?
