Trust me! NS-2000 is basically a sniper rifle with slugs and magnum. It probably has like the same amount of range as an ordinary assault rifle, or better, if you aim at the head that is. Im so skilled with it now that a majority of my kills are headshots, headshots from ridiculous ranges. I swear, if i had a capture card to show you guys some of the ranges i kill people at, you would all be Neostead abusers.... One last thing, 870 combat sucks! Also, M416 with 4x scope and marksmen training FTW! Basically a fully automatic sniper rifle. Has anybody notice M60 and G3 abusers?
Lol. Those basically define the blue guys. You can't count on teammates to do anything, which is why I very rarely play Rush without a friend. I play Conquest instead since you can do more as a single person, and you don't really need squad spawning since you can spawn at any flag you have captured. I actually really enjoy Conquest in BFBC2. The maps play a lot better than the ones from Bad Co 1, but I wish you could turn down that stupid blaring horn that starts going off when you are about to lose. I like to play with my tv loud because of the amazing sounds in the game, but that horn is ridiculously loud. Also, what's the closest Conquest game you guys have played? I played one on Laguna Presa the other day that got down to 4-4, and we finally destroyed their Bradley for the win.
I prefer the MG36. It has it's own scope so I don't have to waste a spec on that, and it doesn't recoil as much as the M60 so I don't have to waste a spec on that, either. I use the extra ammo and enhanced medkits, and it works out pretty well for me. However, I really don't see that many M60s or G3s... I guess I'm just lucky.
Earlier today on Port Valdez, as defenders, I was an Engineer with XM8-C, EX UPGR, and Improved Demolitions. I started out by dashing to the base of the mountain and laying out some AT Mines. I continued this on to the second base, and then at the third base I spawned and piloted the Apache. My vehicle perk was V RLOAD, so I was destroying everything I saw. We then lost the third base, and I remained in the Apache until I was shot down by an AT4, when we were one kill away from victory. I parachuted down, accidentally landing on an enemy, and followed up with a knife to the back to win the game. I was at the top of the scoreboard with 6757 combat points, and in the post-game report it showed that I got 10,000 award bonus, so I got a total of 16757 XP that game. My best game yet.
You know what I've notice, There are a lot of M60 and G3 abusers in BC2. When i was gettting raped by a G3 on bllah blah-presa map it made me convert to G3-ism... That gun rapes! But I wont ever abuse the M60 though. XM8-LMG FTW! That gun has power and range!
I've been wondering something about conquest... Can you win by controlling objectives? Or only by using up their lives? Otherwise there's no real point to capturing the points, other than using them for spawns I guess.
both teams have unlimited lives. For each objective you hold, the enemy team loses one point per given amount of time. well i guess mines are better then.....except i dont want to bother with engineer class when assault is so much more useful.
nope. engineers have SMGs and assault classes have ARs. Also, the assault class has ammo boxes and engineers have repair tools.
I prefer the Engineer class over any class because I favor stealth, and that's something only Engineer and some weapons on Recon offer in abundance. I also prefer it because I'm the kind of guy that gets super pissed when the enemy has vehicle/air control, and I'd like to be able to do something alot about it.
Recon class with a shotgun instead of a sniper is best for stealth IMO. Sneak in, quick close quarters kills, motion sensors to remain unseen. C4 to blow **** up.
I find the Engineer Class to be annoying. Most of the guns have tiny clips and run out after killing 1 or two enemies. Other than repairing/taking out vehicles, Engineers are pretty useless to me.
