Teh yays! Thanks Big-Daddy! Now I can finally beat Clair's Gym (Only just got there, haven't gotten to her yet)
Does anyone else have a problem with being underleveled? I try to battle every trainer I see, and in every pokemon game I have ever played, I've been underleveled when I get to the Elite 4. So I spend hours grinding in Victory Road and it makes me =(. btw, Mamoswine rapes pretty hard. easily my favorite pokemon for this game
I have the same problem, try lowering your Team count, EX. If you have 6 Pokemon like.. Typhlosion Pidgeot Tentacruel Ampharos Crobat Raichu An easier way to limit these Pokemon would be to get Pokemon that are double-typed, for instance; Crobat. Crobat is a Flying-Poison Type, so then that would take care of two Types, instead of just one. My team is this : Sneasel (Dark/Ice) Growlithe ((Soon to be Arcanine)Fire) Crobat (Again, Poison/Flying) Gallade (Fighting/Psychic) Feraligatr (Water) Pikachu ((Soon to be Raichu)Electric) So, you have, 1/2 of my Team Double-Typed, and the other half, Single-Typed. Now, my team was a bad example, but if you can get like... Starter (Other Decent Pokemon) (Other Decent Pokemon) (HM SLAVE) (HM SLAVE) (HM SLAVE if need be.) The reason behind this is, the less Pokemon you have, the less you need to train, which in the long run will either: A)Over-level your Pokemon B)Make your Pokemon where they should be. I'm at the 8th Gym (Which I just beat, thanks to BigDaddy's Sneasel), but unfortunately for me, my Pokemon are all level 30+, where they should be 36 - 42+. To make a Long Story short : The less Pokemon you have on your team, the less weaknesses you'll have, and the easier it'll be to raise all (Insert 2-4 number here) of your Pokemon. EDIT #1 : This is what I'VE gathered, I could be totally wrong, but it's what I've gathered and have heard that is true. So.. *Shrugs* AND yes, I know that i put Ampharos and Raichu on the same team, I didn't know what other pokemon to choose.
The problem with less pokemon is well, theres less, so you can't let as many die..... That came off wierd but you know what I mean. But I don't know what everyones problem with leveling is. I had 5 50 -55s and a lugia by the time I got to the elite four.
HM slaves? have your pokemon learn hms, its not that bad. me: Flying/dragon (My dragon and secondary flying) Flying/electric (I dont use its flying much) Flying/Fire (Main Fire and main flying Ghost/Dark (cant get supered. speacil attacker) Psychic/Steel (Tank) Water/Ice (Main water and ice)
So your using a Dragonite/Salamence (preferably Salamence), Zapdos, Moltres, Sableye/Spiritomb, Metagross (or Bronzong but I'm assuming you want firepower), and a...Dewgong? A team of Choice Scarf or Timid Life Orb Starmie and...well anything that can pack stone edge and earthquake with a decently high attack stat (which is virtually every rock, ground, and fighting type and more) runs through your entire team with no trouble. Yes Sableye and Spiritomb have no weaknesses but they also have no actual stats in general, save for spiritomb's decent at best defenses and a lackluster move pool. EDIT: My apologies, you said your steel/psychic was a tank. It's most likely a Bronzong. Bring in a Magnezone, Blissey, or any fire type (Heatran, Infernape, and Blaziken are your biggest fire type threats in that order) and you're done. And Blissey pretty much walls this entire team on her own save for your dragon, but once Starmie OHKOs him, there's really no problem there at all. EDIT #2: Also, you're probably running Lapras, not Dewgong, but that still gets walled by Blissey and worn down by Starmie w/ Life Orb. Plus, save for surf (and now waterfall thanks to the 4th generation shift) there are no good HMs to teach your pokemon for battling effectively. Even strength and rock climb are beaten out by return with max friendship.
Guiz, I need place to train my Pokemon. Here are my Pokemon/Levels : Sneasel (43) Growlithe (35) Crobat (35) Gallade (37) Feraligatr (35) Pikachu (32 -- waiting for level 37 to turn it into a Raichu) I have no clue where to train my Pokemon, so some help please? I like big teams, which is why I have 6 Pokemon! Also, go watch my Pokeman LeafGreen Let's Play, search on Youtube : DBikeDigital kthxbai.
i loved the origional poke'mon, used to play yellow version all the time. them me and my couisin got crystal, we battled every time we saw eachother (needless to say i kicked his ass) honesstly though i stoped watching and playing it after misty left, it kinda just got...meh for me.i heard thay remade yellow, is that true becasue if it is i will totaly buy it...even though i dont have any type of gameboy anymore.
Ampharos - Flash, Signal Beam, Discharge, Thunderpunch Typhlosion - Flamethrower, Cut, Swift, Fire Blast Gyarados - Bite, Ice Fang, Surf, Dragon Pulse Lugia - Extrasensory, Iron Tail, Hydro Pump, Aeroblast Crobat - Dark Pulse, Poison Fang, Air Slash, Fly Where can you learn/find Ice Beam? It would be helpful for my Lugia to know it. And I'm not THAT serious about it, but I do want to be able to do good.
I wouldnt evolve it. neither pikachu nor raichu are very good compared to other electric types, but if you dont want to train something else you should try to find a light ball. give it to pikachu and it doubles his attack and sp. attack. doesnt work on raichu. seafoam islands
I'd drop the pickachu for an ampharos. Has better overall stats. And I'd get rid of sneasel. They aren't theat powerful even when you evolve it. Try training in victory road or any of the grass around it or south of blackthorn, there is some grass with gravelers that will net you some exp.
The reason I have the Pikachu is for Thunderbolt, I personally don't like them either, but it's my favorite Electric Move, and I'm having such worse luck today with Voltorb Flip, so yeah. Also, the reason I have a Sneasel is that it was Dark/Ice for Claire, helped a bunch.
