Well, from what I've played of them, the rush one is one of my favs' now (for rush, not a fan of it for conquest or squad deathmatch) and I didn't get the chance to play too much of the conquest one. I only got around half a game in. Though, I've got a feeling it'll be one of the few conquest maps I like. Oh, and Nelson Bay is my favorite map to play rush on.
nelson's bay is awesome, but teams rarely defend successfully even if they kill loads well. mainly because the objectives are destructible. uav awesomeness on it though
My friend senorchuckles is a beast in the uav, I plant C4 on it and he flies it through a window to destroy objectives. C4 is definitely the most fun ever.
Yeah, that's a fun strategy. If you get two assault classes to load up the UAV with 6 C4 each on the nose, then you can take out an M-COMM in one run.
It's been taking three tries for me, but that's cause it isn't a direct plant and we can't afford to be too precise. It's more like a get in and out of there really quick sort of thing. I usually stay near the station with my friend to watch him, but sometimes if the station is far enough away I'll move in closer so that we can do faster runs. As a side note, C4 drops through the bottom of blackhawks, so it's possible to do 'bombing' runs, but it's tricky to pull off.
Lmao. That's awesome. I will surely try this in the future. Also, there is a stationary AT on top of the green building at the second base in Valparaiso that has a direct LOS to the A and B M-Comms at the third base. Just zoom in and aim a little below the "A" and "B" markers, and 6 direct hits later, you get a quick 100 points (more if you do a squad attack order first). I actually stole someone's points because he armed it, but I got my 6 shots in before its timer was up. =p You would think snipers would notice the trail of the rocket and just snipe you off of the Stationary AT, but I have done this twice now and blown up both M-Comms without a single problem...
Wait, I was in that game? I saw some ****ing quad fly over head, the guy died shortly after, then I got gunned down by a medic. I was right bellow where that pic was taken... I dunno, loads of people might do that.
If you want to play some Bad Company hit me up on Live, I'm really looking for some good squad mates. I hate silent squads that don't know how to cooperate.
I just added you bish. I play BC2 like the kind of guy who sneaks into your house, stabs you in the back, takes your wallet, and blows up your house with C4. More or less, i flank with the shotgun, and it works quite well. Also, i use C4 on objectives. I rarely arm. People never notice C4 on objectives. Also, when do you unlock the 12 Gauge Rounds?
Try doing a backflip in a jetski after a roadkill. Pwnt. What is the deal with the M95? It's a 50.cal sniper with the highest damage in the game, and I put magnum power ammo on, and it still doesn't kill with one hit. I was point blank behind someone, and I shot him with the M95, he didn't die, and then he turned around and M16'd me. WTF? And another time, I was attackers on Port Valdez and there was someone out in the open. I was a fair distance away but he was standing still and I took a shot. It hit him around the upper torso, and then he turned and started running. I hit him with another shot in the next 5 seconds and HE STILL DIDN'T DIE.... I wouldn't use the M95 except it is the most effective counter-sniper weapon, and in BFBC2, 70% of the population just sits with their thumb up their ass sniping the whole game. So I feel that I need to be a counter-sniper.
This. I just went 24-10 on Isla Innocentes with the 12-gauge SAIGA. I blew up EVERY SINGLE M-Comm. I had a score of over 2200, the next highest on my team had less than 800. What am I trying to say? The SAIGA with 12-gauge rounds makes you a one-man army.
