Bailout CTF is the best thing to ever happen to this game since Skidrow. It's a shame that Shotgun secondaries ruined Crash, and that Thermal ruined Overgrown (for me at least.)
After what feels like months of not having a working copy of MW2, I will finally be getting another copy in the next 4-5 days. I'm assuming I'm going to play terribly in my first few games considering I haven't played in a while. Have any trends came along lately other than modded games?
No, domination on crash is amazing as well... But don't even get me started on HQ on crash! Sex in a box...
Yeah, there are pretty horrible. On Storm domination, if you capture i think C and B, they get trapped at A spawn with two main ways to get out. One is through an open area with no cover, or through a decent sized hallway. Camped there with C4 and a SCAR and got a 35 kill-streak. Me vs the other team.
Idk man, for the first twenty levels I use the M4 and it rapes, but after that I just can't seem to use it anymore.
Sabotage on Bailout is the WORST thing I have ever played! The bomb kept moving back and forth between the two bases, but no one could plant! Twenty minutes of stalemate... both sides are so easy to defend it makes for a bad game of sabotage..Team deathmatch is amazing on bailout though!
it costs less than a halo one. . . it's great, definitely worth it IMO. I'd suggest watching some youtube videos of the maps and deciding for yourself.
Didn't the Halo map packs cost around $15 - $20? Didn't they only give you just THREE maps? Yeah, $5 for each new map plus two old maps for free. Why are people so worked up about this? I haven't bought the map pack yet, but I play them on System Link with my neighbor and his five brothers, his mom, and his dad. Bailout is definitely the best and most balanced. It's great for Capture the Flag and Team Death Match, but not too good with Sabotage and I wasn't too fond of Domination either. Storm is confusing and the one I played on the least along with Salvage, but it felt very well done. It has a lot of open spaces and the center building is great for SMGs and the TAR. Salvage has practically no camp spots and is mainly people running around with SMGs and ****. Once someone gets airsupport though, the games pretty much over. Crash and Overgrown are fantastic but the Shotgun secondaries kind of made being indoors on Crash a pain in the ass. We did one game where pistols only for a secondary like CoD4 and it was a blast. Overgrown feels pretty lackluster with the addition of Thermal. TDM felt nice but the only Objective gametype I played was Sabotage on it and it was incredibly fun. If you play a lot of Private Matches with honour rules, I highly recommend getting it. Plus, playing Counter Strike-style SnD on Crash is incredibly fun if you've ever played that before.
People are getting worked up because the price for map packs on halo was acceptable, as opposed to this map pack that IMO should cost 5-10 bucks max. In a game like halo, you have forge, theater, and customs. Which all greatly expand the time you enjoy the game. Making the price on the map packs worth the product. I understand a lot of people really like COD but Mw2 is **** IMO but I play it because it's the flavor of the week and to pass the time to Reach. Cod 4 was so much better gameplay wise. All mw2 has is graphics.
If you don't like it, then don't ****ing buy it. I play MW2 because I'm bored of Halo because at least Modern Warfare 2 has weapon variety and fast paced combat AT THE SAME TIME. All Halo 3 is is just BR BR BR DUR DUR DUR. In terms of adding things to each game, MW2 has customizable killstreaks, more weapon attachments, callsigns, new maps, new gametypes (i think,) a slew of new weapons, and the addition of the Pro perk element. All those new additions changed how the Modern Warfare series gameplay while keeping the weapon variety and generally faster pace of gameplay when compared to Halo. Halo 3's gameplay wasn't changed AT ALL from Halo 2. The only noticeable change is the Spartan Laser and Equipment but even that's not enough to justify a significant change. Even with Forge, the competitive gameplay doesn't change. Sure you can make a bunch of AWESOME NEW MAPS with Forge but the gameplay will still be BR BR BR SPAWN TRAP THE ENEMY OH MAN WARTHOG GET THE LASER DERRRRRRRRRRRRPPPP NOW LETS WATCH WHAT HAPPENS EVERY SINGLE GAME IN THEATER. Note that I'm only comparing the core gameplay of each title and nothing else. Take away Forge and Theater and no one would even care about Halo 3, because all it would be is a prettier version of Halo 2.
The fact that it's features are better than Halo's does not change the act that it is an essentially broken game. 1. It's leaderboards mean nothing due to hackers 2. It's glithced to Hell, thanks again to glitchers 3. It's much more laggy, at least to me, than Halo (possibly due to lag switches) etc. etc. etc. Halo may be repetitive but at least it works the way it was meant to. Personally, I'm not buying any map pack or anything until it's fixed. In the mean time I think I may try BFBC2. Modern Warfare was fun, but it just couldn't hold for long with it's problems.
Ha! but I have no Idea Why I never used the FAMAS until yesterday, played 4 games and unlocked the ACOQ scope. I was like "****, I had this from the beginning?", the problem I have with it is it's power is all gone in HC SnD.
